Happy Valentine's Day ladies

((I know that I don't have everything posted that takes place before this, but I felt the need to get this one going on time.))
Keven, Shamus, Joseph, Ivan, Jason, Andrew, Isah, Paul, and William all walked into the ballroom on the second for of the Inn. They looked around the room and started getting idea's of what they could do with the vast amount of space they had available to them. Joseph called Manny to come down and join them. Ivan volunteered to go find the Inn Keeper or his Grandson. But it was Shamus who had the best idea for getting help. He simply spoke one word. "Eros." He called to the God of Love, Lust, and Fertility.
He was pretty sure that Eros was still hanging around the Inn with Venis, but even if he wasn't, he would hear the call. And Eros was usually very prompt in answering when he was called upon. Paul thought that perhaps Ha'Ruil would like to get in on this. So he called up to the room that he shared with Tasha. He hoped that Ha'Ruil would answer, he had no idea what excuse he would give Tasha for wanting to talk to him. And as the men waited for phones to be answered, and other calls, they walked around planning.

He had been sitting there watching some television when he heard the phone in the room ring. Tasha had gone to see Venis for some reason, so it was just him in the room. With a shrug he got up and went to the phone and picked it up.
"Hello?"
He understood what to say at a when a person answered the phone.

He was walking around the garden when he got the ringing in his ear that someone was calling him. It took but a moment to find out where the summons came from, so in an instant he disappeared and appeared again in front of Shamus. "You called?"

He was not that hard to find, He was relaxing with his feet on the ottoman in the lounge clicking through channel after channel on the bigscreen tv that was there. "You have got to be kidding me all these channels and nothing to watch? This is depressing" He just chuckled a little as he just kept on flicking through the channels.

Manny answered his phone on the third ring. "Yes Joseph?" The song that played told him it was one of the employees, the caller ID told him which one. Joseph's voice came back to Manny rather quietly. He didn't know for sure how close to the phone Gwendolan might be, and the volume was usually rather high on Manny's phone. "Hey Manny, can you come down to the Ballroom please. We need your help." That was as vague as he could be. After all, he didn't want Gwendolan to be suspicious.
Gwendolan wasn't near the phone, she was in the bath. So Manny sighed and answered Joseph. "All right, I will be down shortly." He left out the part about how it had bettered be good, because he was just about to join his girlfriend in the tub. Joseph smiled, though Manny couldn't see it. "Thanks man." Then they both hung up the phones. Manny went and peeked his head into the bathroom. "I was going to ask you if you wanted company, but duty calls my love. I will be back as soon as I can."
When Eros appeared before Shamus, he was startled to say the least. Prompt he expected, but the proximity to him was a bit of a shock. "Yes, M'Lord. We were wondering, if you're not too busy that is. Well sir, we could use some help." They would understand if he was busy, this was his busy time of the year after all. But they couldn't exactly go to Venis or Emilia with this problem. It would ruin the surprise if they did. And this was Eros' area of expertise after all. So it was him they called.
Paul was very much relieved when it was Ha'Ruil who answered the phone. He had still not come up with an excuse to give Tasha for the call. "Thank the God's. Hi Ha'Ruil, it's Paul. We are planning a surprise Valentine's Day party for the ladies and we were wondering if you wanted to come down to the Ballroom and get in on this?" He waited to see what Ha'Ruil had to say. If he wanted to participate, without the getting involved with the planning, that was fine, they would work it out somehow so that they were included.
Ivan spotted the Inn Keeper's Grandson sitting in the lounge watching TV, well flipping channels anyway. He cleared his throat before he spoke. "Excuse me sir." It felt a little funny addressing someone so young as sir. "We were wondering if we could use the ballroom for a Valentine's Day party? Also, if you would care to join us, perhaps celebrate with a lady friend?" He smiled at the young man. He figured that the people who ran this place would probably be cool with them using the ballroom again.
The other men where carrying in boxes of decorations and talking about what to put where. But they weren't hanging anything, they weren't even airing up the mylar balloons with helium yet. They were waiting for Ivan to return with permission from the people who ran the Inn. They were also waiting to see what Eros would say to their request of help. Because if either of those were a no, they would have to go with plan B. Which was a change of venue. It would be back at the Keep in the center of the castle.

He looked up from the TV and looked at the man. After a few moments he smiled and nodded. "Sure that would not be a problem at all. Hell the Ball needs to be used for something right?" He just chuckled as he got up from the couch and thought for a moment. "And yes there is a friend that I would like to go with." He was thinking about the lady that he met at the bar a few days before. "So....is there anything you would like me to do?"

He looked at Shamus and smiled as he looked around. He saw what they were trying to do. "So what would you want me to help with then?" He was busy but that did not mean that he had to go from place to place.

WIth that he told Paul goodbye and hung up.
He make sure he looked presentable before he walked over to the desk and pulled out a sheet of paper saying that he would be going out for a few to get some fresh air. Making sure to leave it somewhere where Tasha could see it as soon as she entered the room. And with that he walked out the door closing it behind him.

((Wow, I am so sorry that this is not done yet. I had had hoped to have it done by the 14th, but life had other plans I guess.))
Ivan smiled, he had just been given some good news. "Well, sir, we could use some help with preparing the invitations. Also, if you will be asking a lady friend, she will need a dress and a gift. We have started the preparations for that, but the decisions would be made by you of course." He waited to see if Tokeda was going to join them in the ballroom to prepare.
Shamus motioned towards the boxes as he walked and talked. He hoped that Eros would walk along with him. "Well, we have these wreaths that need to hang from the ceiling, and these that go on the wall. It would take forever for us humans to do them one at a time. We have a book of dresses, a little magic and we could have the ones we like for our ladies."
He opened the lid to another box and looked in. "We can start covering the chairs and the tables, if you could use some magic to put these center pieces and table settings out. I mean, there is a bit of a time crunch because it's so hard to surprise Venis. We've got gifts and invitations covered, but if you could maybe help with music and some atmosphere?"
He gave his last request some thought. "We don't want them to think that they have fallen in love or anything. Maybe just some euphoria, a mild case. I mean, we want their reactions to be genuine, but we want them to have a lovely night too. We Have dinner and dessert covered as well. So I think that's everything." He hoped that it wasn't too much
Paul hung up his phone. "Ha'Ruil is in. He's on his way down. He said he had nothing better to do. Imagine what Tasha would have done if she had heard that." He was all smiles as he headed over to start helping with things. He thought that the whole thing about Ha'Ruil not having anything better to do was funny. But he would never be the one to tell her.
As Manny was on his way down the stairs, he ran into Jimmy Ray. He had barely ever spoke to the man before. But he knew the ratio of men to women. He knew that Jimmy Ray knew Emilia too. "Jimmy Ray, question for you." He didn't know about Tokeda, so he thought they were still a man short.
Jimmy Ray stopped walkin' up the stairs and looked at the man who's talked t' him. "Yes'ir. What can I do ya fer Mr. Manny?" He wasn't used t' the employee's of the Goddess talkin' t' him less he was gittin' some grub er a drink. It seemed kinda odd fer one o'em t' stop him in the hall, or on the stairs t' talk t' him. So he was a figurin' this was sumtin' awefully important. So he was willin' t' give Mr. Manny his full attention. It wouldn't o' done t' not.
Manny smiled at the cowboy. "Well sir, it seems that there is to be a surprise party for the ladies for Valentine's Day. I was wondering if you would like to join us and be an escort for one of the lovely ladies that will be joining us?" He hoped that Jimmy Ray would be up to it, they needed more men. He tried not to be distracted by the thought of finding one more.
Jimmy Ray was a lil shocked that he was bein' asked t' help with this. But he was willin' t' help out. After all, he was figurin' he might ask miss Emilia out for the holiday anyway. "Ya know Mr. Manny, I do belive I'll be a helpin' y'all out. Do ya think it's still possible t' get miss Emilia as my lady fer the night? I mean, that's iffin ya think she would?" He didn't really know anyone else good 'nuff. So he was a hopin' somethin' aweful that it'd be miss Emila.
Manny chuckled. "I'm sure that if she's already been chosen then someone would be willing to trade. The men know the other ladies ." He figured that most of them men had an idea of which lady they would like to be an escort for, but he figured that someone would give up Emilia for Jimmy Ray, they knew that he wasn't exactly well known by the others.

That was the way his mamma had raised him, always respect yer elders. An' he hoped that Mr. Manny di'n't mind.

He just smiled and nodded as he went with Shamus from this place and that. After Shamus dicussed what he wanted him to do, Eros just smiled looking at the man. He leaned his head one way and the other cracking his neck before putting his fingers together cracking them. "Ok lets see what this old man can do." With that he put his hands out as the wreaths started to float up to the ceiling and walls hanging themselves up, The covers started to move covering the chairs and tables while the main feature the disco ball started to float and go into the center of the ceiling. Brooms where cleaning up things off the floor while mops and vaccums where doing their things. It honestly looked like fantasia with Eros moving his arms and hands this way and that. After a few minutes of looking around making sure that everything was in order, he put his hands down and looked at Shamus. "Is that everything you wanted me to do?"

He walked downstairs making sure that Tasha would not see him, Soon he was at the second floor looking around seeing the other guys working around the ball room seeing the things that were being put up. Once he found Paul he smiled as he walked over to him.
"Hey Paul, what do you need me to do?"
He just looked around again seeing there was not really not much for him to do.

He just smiled and nodded as he heard what the man had to say. He put his hands together rubbing them and smiled as he started to walk over to the elevator. "That seems simple enough job. and I think I already know what to get the lady for a dress and gift." With that he pressed the button for the elevator.

This was Shamus and Joseph's brain child. So they sort of took the lead as the men filtered into the ballroom. Shamus motioned to William and he brought in two rolling dress racks full of beautiful red dresses. "Ok, we have to establish who is going to be who's escort. I have Inion. Joe, you wanted Fia, right?" Joseph nodded and headed over to pick a dress. "Eros, you got Venis for us? I think there's at least a couple of dresses over there that are her style." He smiled.
He looked at a list in his hand. "Manny, you obviously have Gwendolan, and Ha'Ruil, Tash, right?" He chuckled. "Ok, so we need someone for Emilia. Drew, you got Maddie? Isah, Kyra, right?" He was looking over the list and making notes. "There's Ali Cat." He knew they would slap him for putting them together like that, but he didn't care. "Jason, Juliet, right?" Jason nodded as he pulled a dress off the rack. Andrew and Isah were looking too.
Shamus kept looking at his list. "Who's got Aryanna and Shayla?" Paul spoke up. "Put me down for Shayla, I have a great idea for a gift, and this dress would look great on her." William was looking at two different dresses. "I want to escort Aryanna, we've had fun at other occasions." He put one dress back, figuring that the other dress would look better on her. Shamus spoke up again. "Ivan, you said Casie, right?" Ivan nodded as he pulled a dress off the rack.
Keven pulled a dress off the rack and grinned. "Put me down for Cat. I definitely want to see her in this." He chuckled some more as he looked the dress over. Fourteen women, fourteen men. It was working out perfectly. Shamus was rather proud of them for this. Joseph walked over to the invitation station after picking a dress for Fia. "Ok guys. We have five styles of bears. Plus there's roses, chocolates and balloons. Everyone pick a bear for their lady."
The bears, flowers, chocolates, and balloons were going to be delivered to the ladies by other employees. There would be instructions for them to get dressed and be outside the door at a certain time. Joseph started to put out the bears so everyone could pick the ones they wanted. There were fourteen vases of flowers, fourteen boxes of chocolates, and fourteen bundles of mylar balloons filled with helium. Each bundle had twelve V-Day balloons.

Jimmy Ray heard Mr. Shamus ask who would like t' escort Miss Emilia. That was his cue. He looked over at Mr. Eros. "Iffin ya don't mind Sir, I'd like t' escort yer perty daughter t' this here shindig." He hoped it'd be a'right with him given he was her Pa and all. He'd a volunteered t' escort another lady iffin he'd known any o' 'em.
He was lookin' at some o' them dresses. Not many o' 'em looked like somthin' Miss Emilia'd wear. But he found a few that were kinda skimpy. He started lookin' them o'er.anyway.

He just smiled and nodded over to Shamus. "That is fine." He put his hand up and a dress appeared in his hand. "I think this one would be perfect for the goddess." He looked over at everyone to make sure that everything was going to OK and that if he was needed for anything else. If not then hey would just sit there and make sure nothing wrong happened.

And with that he walked over to the rack of dresses and started to go through them looking at each one and when he finally saw which one he liked he pulled it out and smiled.
"Here is the one that I want her to wear."
He just chuckled as he showed it off.

After looking around for a moment and when he heard Ali still did not have a man yet he walked over to Shamus and said. "I will take care of Ali." It was straight to the point as he walked over to the dress rack and started to rummage through them to find one that he wanted her to have on. After a few moments he smiled and pulled out a nice one. "Yes this one shall do nicely." He nodded again before walking back over to Shamus. "Anything else needed for this nice little party?"

Shamus checked off each name as the men involved volunteered to escort a female. Everything was perfect. They had the dresses picked, the bears sitting on the chocolates with the balloons tied to them all sitting atop the dress boxes that were getting filled with the dresses that the men picked, and the vases of roses were with them. With Eros' help the tables were decorated and set, the decorations were all in place and the place had a sense of serenity and peace and an aura of romance. It was as perfect as it could get.
The men finished stuffing the gift bags for the ladies. Enter the men who would be working for the evening. Fourteen of Venis' sexiest male employees arrived in the ballroom just in time to start. Their uniforms for the evening were black tuxedo pants, black dress shoes, and black bow ties. It was reminiscent of one of Venis and Seleen's favorite pastimes from Earth. They looked like Chippendale dancers. They ladies should enjoy the extra eye candy they would have for the evening. It was intended to add to the ambiance of the room.
Once the gift bags were ready, the men began to head out. Shamus headed over to the men who didn't work for Venis. "Thank you for all your help gentlemen. If you could meet us back here at six o'clock tonight. The ladies are to start arriving at six-thirty. Please be dressed in a tuxedo if possible. If you need help in that regard, come by room two oh two or two oh four and we will try to help you out." The men had extra tuxedo's in their rooms. They had a few different styles each, and each employee was a different size.
Venis' employees headed to their rooms to change. Manny had to make sure that Gwendolan wasn't in there when he went in to change. The men had been talking about a secondary surprise at the party. So the men knew what they would have to return with when they came back. Meanwhile, the working employees gathered up their deliveries and headed out. Five men headed to the cottage out in the garden that housed the fairies. One to Lady Casandra's cottage. The rest of the men had to make deliveries within the Inn proper.
Now they would have to wait a short period of time before they could make some of the deliveries, as some of the ladies were out. And the men who happened to live with their ladies were going to have to hide from them once they were in their tuxedos. The invitations were all basically the same. Though a few had small amendments. For example, Lady Casandra and Emilia's invitations said to drop off their children in room three twelve where there was a nanny to care for them until the next day. There were no children tonight.
The invitations read: 'Happy Valentine's Day. You are cordially invited to attend an evening of dinner and dancing in the second floor ballroom. Please put on the dress that has been provided and come to the ballroom at six-thirty PM tonight. The only thing you are asked to bring is a Birthday gift for lady Inion if you have one.' Of course, Lady Inion's invitation didn't mention bringing a gift and it asked her to arrive at the ballroom at seven o'clock PM instead. That way there was time to get the gifts stashed out of site of the tables.
So as each door was knocked upon, the gifts were delivered with the invitations. The fairies each had a different teddy bear so they wouldn't get confused. They each had a vase of five dozen mixed roses. The vases were from Isah's 'Hundred Year' collection. The vases were made with glass that had a drop of Venis' blood mixed in. It made the flowers that were placed in the vases live a hundred years. The boxes of chocolates had one hundred and thirty-five pieces of chocolate in them. And there were a dozen mylar balloons as well.
Three deliveries went up to the fifth floor. Room five oh one was where they would find Venis and Kyra. They waited until they knew that Venis had returned from being out. Room five oh two was where they would find Emilia. Two of the deliveries went to the fourth floor. Room four oh one was where they would find Tasha, four oh four was where they would find Gwendolan. Two employees went to the third floor where they could find Catrina and Alicia.The last employee headed out to Lady Casandra's garden cottage to invite her.

He just smiled as he saw people going out to get dressed and he just smiled as from his feet going up and a nice sharp tuxedo started to appear on him. But once it got to his back something different happened, if people were to see him they would see wings started to appear on his back as well as the shirt tie and jacket appeared as well. He looked behind him and smiled as he let the wings stretch out. "Ah there we go."

With havin' Mr. Eros' permission he picked out the dress an' gave it t' the guys who was packin' them in boxes. He made sure that there was a teddy bear an' roses an' chocolates an balloons with it too. When Mr. Shamus had asked them t' go get int' their tuxes he nodded and left the room.
On his way up t' his room he started thinkin'. He'd noticed somethin' while he was in the ballroom. Mr. Eros had been makin' things fly 'round the room. He hadn't wanted t' say nothin' while he was there. He di'n't want t' sound stupid or nothin'. But he was rather curious 'bout how he coulda done all that. He figured he'd ask miss Emilia later.
He got int' his room an' changed int' a pair of dark black jeans, his good black boots, a white dress shirt, his best bolo tie, an' his black hat. He slid int' a black jacket an' was good t' go. He headed back down t' the ballroom. When he got there the employees o' the Goddess were there an' so was Mr. Eros. An' what in the heck? Mr. Eros had sprouted some wings? Now he was really confused. So he found a place t' sit an' wait fer miss Emilia. He had a lot t' discuss with her later tonight.

He saw the other people going out the doors and he just smiled as he walked over to the window below Tasha's and his room.
"They do things the hard way."
So with that he started to change getting smaller and smaller, and before long he was a gecko sticking his tongue out to lick his eye ball. With that he started to climb the wall and out the window. Looking around making sure there was nothing out there to eat him he started to climb up the outside wall up to their room. Once he got there he looked around making sure she was not in there he saw Levi.
~Hey Levi its me can you open up the window please with a push~
Levi's head poked up looking around seeing this little gecko waving its hand before she got up and got on two legs pushing open the window.

With that he came inside and shifted back to his elf form. He walked over to Levi and scratched her behind the ear before he went to his closet taking out the suit and started to change. After he changed he walked back over to the windowsill and changed back into a gecko before climbing out of the windows and started his way back over to the ballroom window. once he got back into the window he shifted back to his elf form.

He followed the rest of the men smiling and talking to a few before he went down the stairs to the first floor. He turned around the corner and went into the hall way where he and his grandfather lived. After a few minutes he came to his room, unlocking the door and going in. He went to his closet and looked through all cloths before finding the one that he wanted to wear. "This should do nicely." he nodded to himself and smiled. Before long he had taken off his cloths and put on the suit. After looking in the mirror making sure that everything looked correct he walked back out of his room and took the stairs back up to the ball room. He just smiled as he walked back into the ball room and saw some of the other men there. After scanning the room he saw the man named Eros with wings on his back and he just chuckled. "Sir I like the look. It makes you look like Cupid." with that he just waited over the others to show up.

While Cas took DJand Nat to the room with the nanny. She made her way to the second floor ballroom. She felt kind of nervous. One because she was all dolled uo, which really wasn't her style. Two , because she hoped Andrew would be here, and like her dress. Three, because it seemed she was early. She did love how the red dress looked on her.
Right before she reached the ball room, she stopped and made sure she had Andrew's Valentines day present, and Lady Inion's present. After she was satsifyed, she checked herself to make sure everything was okay.
Satisfied, she made her way to the ballroom. There was another topless man standing outside. Maddie wondered if Veins was behind this, with all the nakedness going on.
Madeline smiled at the man and gave him her name. "Madeline Alexandria Cauthon."
Right before she reached the ball room, she stopped and made sure she had Andrew's Valentines day present, and Lady Inion's present. After she was satsifyed, she checked herself to make sure everything was okay.

Emilia was loving the dress picked out for her. Whoever choose it had great taste. It was fitted at the top with strips of fabric that left a lot of exposed flesh. The bottom of the dress was flowing. In the front it came up above her thighs and in the back it was floor length.
She walked up to the doors of the ball room and smiled at the man at the door. Half naked like the one that had delivered the packages. She smiled as she saw Maddie.
"Hello Maddie, how are you enjoying the eye candy?"
She walked over to the man by the door and slapped him on his backside.
"This one has a nice arse."

Cas had dropped off the kids and was now on her way to the second floor. She knew Maddie would be there. She was just in time to see Emilia smacking the man at the door on his backside. She just smiled and shook her head.
"I guess you are already enjoying the evening."
She hugged Maddie. She was still feeling the butterflies. She had two small boxes in her hands. She nodded to the man at the door and waited her turn.
