Food First {open}

He had been out all day again and now it was the early part of the next day and he was walking in through the front doors of this Inn at three in the morning. P He didn't bother to go to the front desk - he had no business there - but went instead towards the bar.

When he got here he was told that the bar was open around the clock so now he intended to see if it was true. The goal for the night was not to simply get food and go to sleep but he would be better off if he ate something first. He tried to get a bite on the way here. Went and sat down at the bar, asked for a B.L.T, then the tender nodded his head and wouldn't you know it, just what he ordered appeared out of damn thin air.

What the hell.

He wasn't surprised at the magic, he was taken back at the laziness. How hard was it to take two pieces of bread and put them together with bacon, lettuce and tomato? Mael sure as hell wasn't going to eat it. Even made a comment about someone being pissed that the sandwich they were about to eat suddenly being missing. It was a wasted joke because the guy had started explaining shit about how the sandwich didn't just appear but that he pulled modular structure from the air and manipulated them into the ingredients for the sandwich, cut them perfectly with the exact flavor and taste and made it appear on the bar in the blink of an eye. Right.

He called bullshit on that one. Funny to that everyone else in the room had begun wondering where the things come from when they just appear out of thin air.

Going to the bar he had on more than what he was seen in around here – not much considering he was actually seen around. He wore a jacket that was almost identical to a typical 1st Virginia Cavalryman shell jacket of the 18th centaury with the Hussar Bars on the front, but unlike the traditional outfit a string of dull gold buttons was up the side of each arm. Black pant, shoes, the only thing tussled about him was his hair. Looked like he either just got out of bed or didn’t care how it was.

Not much going on here it seemed, place was pretty quiet he noticed. Before he took liberties and worked over the bar and kitchen as though he was home he pushed aside a stool and leaned on the bar. To get someone’s attention – if they were there to get it – his knuckles knocked against the surface.

Let’s see what happens.

As he would find out, the place was not as dead as he thought, at first look. Though she did not work at the bar, for she was rather new to the grounds, and had actually came just to visit with some friends. As she was a creature that was often out and about at odd times, the hour was nothing new to her. She had just walked in the door, when she heard knuckles taping against the wood of the bar. She peered around to see if she had been seen yet. As the only person in the room was looking behind the bar, she figured she was safe, not saying she was, but she could assume it.

So, being whom she was, she would quickly disappear from sight, and reappear back in the back of the bar. So it would look like she was back there the whole time. She had not noticed anyone else back there, so she thought it was safe. Usually when she did such things the scent of lilac’s would appear, but seeing she did appear in a different room, there was only a light scent of lilac’s which was her natural scent.

A smile would form upon her lips, as baby blues landed at the one at the bar, as she entered from the back kitchens. Her arms were at her sides, as she moved forward, wearing her normal white gown with a light purple rope belt. There was no sound of shoes on the floor, for she was bare foot as always, and had a very light step. Her long light blonde curls were pulled back away from her face, hanging down her back. A wreath of daisies upon her head.

After she reached behind the bar, that smile would stay in place, and her melodic voice would slip out. “‘ello, can I be of service?” She stayed put until he replied, her hands would lift and fold on top of the bar.

Manny, being the ever resourceful man in charge of many, had asked the Inn Keeper, just a few short days after the arrival of the entourage, if he could use the employees of the Goddess for anything. They were offered bar and kitchen duty. Which they, of course, were happy to accept. So with eight men available, and the bar being open around the clock, it made sense to put two men per six hour shift.

And this shift it was Shamus and Joseph. Who had not expected there to be anyone at the bar given the hour. Their mistake. But they were in the pantry making a shopping list and getting out the items needed for the breakfast rounds. They pulled out the dry goods and were taking stock of what there was and what was needed when they smelt the faint scent of lilacs. They started sniffing around.

Realizing that the scent wasn't coming from the pantry and that they hadn't accidentally opened something, they exited the pantry. They began to sniff around the kitchen trying to find the scent. But that was when Joseph heard voices. Well, one voice. And it was one he had heard before, at the other Inn. Though he had never met the source of the voice, he had heard it before when they would help Armandeus in the kitchen.

So it was then that Joseph and Shamus made their presence known. And to their surprise there was the source of the voice, who also seemed to be the source of the scent of lilacs, and a man. Shamus couldn't place the womans name, though he was sure he had heard it before. So they let it go, they knew that they wouldn't have been both on shift had there been another employee that had already been hired.

So they Both cleared their throats. But it was Shamus who chose to speak. "Thanks for covering for us while we made our shopping list sweety, but we're done for now. If you wanna have a seat, we'll get you something to eat too." He winked at her, so as not to blow her cover if she was trying to mack on the guy by letting him think she was working here. No need to slow a lady's roll like that, after all,they wouldn't do it to a guy.

Joseph could hardly contain his laughter at the way Shamus dealt with the blonde bombshell behind the bar. "Hello sir, I'm Joseph and this is Shamus." He figured she would catch the names and they were still trying to not blow her cover. "How can we help you this morning? We haven't started breakfast yet, but what ever you want we can whip up for you. For you as well sweety." Still trying to give the illusion they knew her.

Well damn. No sooner had he taken a seat and tapped on the bar did the place come alive. The early morning hours of the day must be the time when this place came alive and that there said it wasn't a normal place. In this city what was normal anyway aside from the cliches of dominating females who really wanted to be men and ripped men with dark and mysterious pasts who swore off emotions. He had met one to many people that fell into those two categories and brought about his feeling about people belonging to the same group: if you've met one you've met the all. God only knows if the people here are going to be the same.

Anyway.

He figured he would see at least one person even though it was 3 am, and that was because he'd been told the bar was twenty-four-seven. But he didn't think that it would be a chick who smelled like lilacs (had to be her because the scent wasn't there before) and looked better suited for lush field of flowers in bright sunlight; not here and defiantly not behind the bar. She was here though and she was asking what she could do for him. If she could make him an actual sandwich that would do a lot and that's exactly what he intended on telling her before the door back there opened and two more people came out. Not one, but two people. Either this chick here was drawing people like a magnet or saying hello to a person was cause to get everyone to stand at attention.

Now, the way that they acted with the chick was interesting. Too overly friendly to know her and not friendly enough to have something going with her either. And the laughter, even if it was not so subtly contained. Were they hyped off of something like her scent or whatever it was that caused them both to leave out of the back room. They were not twins so what they were doing back there that caused them to come out so quickly . . .

Seemed to him that they were taking over the bar but he couldn't just discredit the chick, she had seen him first and offered to do something for him. "A B.L.T. One that isn't materialized out of thin air." He looked at the chick when he spoke. Addressing her. She could take the order and fill it or do what the guys said and take a seat. He was still leaning on the bar.

The two men mentioned not starting breakfast and Mael could only wonder who the hell had breakfast at 3 AM? Not anything that could be called breakfast. And so he looked at them.

"That shouldn't be too much trouble."

Inion and Fia had been out on a girls night when they decided to stop at the bar in the Inn. they both where suddenly very hungry and didn't want to wake the others girls. They entered the bar giggling and whispering to each other like two giddy drunk girls and didn't realize there were others there until they looked up from Inion's cell phone. When they did realize they tried very hard to compose themsleves and not laugh. Inion was the first one to recover for the most part "good evening everyone. It seems that the hungries have gotten tomore then just us." She jibbed Fia in the ribs with her elbow to try and get her to stop laughing.

They were dressed in clubbing clothes, Fia's a little more revealing then Inion's of course, and as the stepped closer to the bar thier wings fluttered a bit behind them. Fia gave Shamus and Joseph a wink while Inion flashed everyone a bright pretty smile that sparkled in her eyes. She was in a very happy mood.

The sweet smell of Inion filled the room even before her bright smile and her giggling laughter did. And Fia could be just as inviting. Which of course placed huge smiles upon the faces of Shamus and Joseph. Especially Joseph, after all, the Irishman was always happy to see the Irish lovelies.

But there was work to be done before pleasure could be had. The man had ordered a B.L.T. Shamus was ready to get to it. "Would you like your bacon cooked crispy or soft sir?" Yes, he said cooked. He was a mere mortal man and would actually have to physically go into the kitchen to make the sandwich.

There was another question he had before he could go. "Also, would you care for some mayonnaise or Miracle Whip or something on that?" Some people preferred their B.L.T.'s with condiments. So Shamus wanted to make sure before he set off to work in the kitchen making the food.

This of course was going to leave Joseph in the room with the new guy, the familiar yet unknown lady, and the pair of Irish Roses, one of which, he happened to have a bit of a crush on. "And what can we get for the lovely ladies this morning?" A smile for them all with a wink for Fia of course.

He was sure that he had addressed his order to the chick in white yet the guy here was still bowling forward. Speak about forwardness. Guess when it was someone's time to get out from behind the bar they better bridle up and get to leaving or be pushed out the way. Could be the argument of the new shift wanting the old shift to sit down and rest but he'd seen very few who would suddenly leave after they already engaged a customer. Notwithstanding the people who liked to wait on others as it was a means for being social.

And when the two fairies came in - they had wings, it was a guess - there were more people to attend to than him and so, "Look. Shamus." Indicating the guy with his right hand, arm up on the elbow. "Why don't you back off and see if Lilac here wants to take the order or not first before pushing her out. She did ask me first." Lilac was the chick in white for obvious reasons.

Didn't say what he said to flirt with the chick, to start an argument or shit like that, what he said was fact based. She had asked him then those two came out from the back room and started taking over as though she was unable to take an order. The fairies that came in were hungry.

There were other orders to take.

Kyra decided to come for a visit and get a feel for the new place before she decided whether or not she was going to stay or not. She seemed to have many places to choose from these days that she can stay. A smile crossing her lips as she thought about the conversation she had in her head with her father. He hinted to her that he might come and visit her soon to see what she has been up to but he didn't make any promises though.

Upon entering the inn she looked around and seen people going into another room and she thought maybe that was the bar or some place she could explore a little bit. Heading toward the room she saw she made the right choice to explore this place since it was the bar. Which was good for her to find since her belly started growling at her a while ago but she chose to ignore it.

The 3 foot tall faerie moved over to the bar and looked around before choosing a seat. She sat a few seats down from the man that was already there and waited until the tender was done taking other orders so she could see a menu or something. Looking around a bit more she thought she recognized some of the people that were there from the other place she was at.

Azlin was well known in some circles it would appear, and a few people here at the inn she had met a time or two, others might of just seen her or heard about her, either way, it was good. So when she was standing behind the bar, and the two men did come out, her gaze would lift from the man leaning against the bar, that smile turning to the two men. “’ello Joseph and Shamus.” She got the names from when they offered it, and if the man behind the bar was alert he would probably notice as much. “I am glad you got your list done.” She would continue to smile as she spoke, “But really tis alright, I will just help this nice man here, and be out of the way.” Once Azlin offered to do something she was the sort that wished to see it through. If she did not wish to do it she would of never offered to do so in the first place.

She did not mean any disrespect to the men, but she wasn’t just eye candy, she was fully functional too! And a secret about the girl, she liked to cook. Even if it was just a simple B.L.T. Though she did understand that the men were just doing their jobs, and they were trying to be helpful, and it was actually rather kind.

Her baby blues moved back to the man when he spoke. “That is something that I can do.” She meant that, she could actually prepare one, and not just have it poof from thin air. Being in Rhy’Din, she had often seen people poof things, she herself had done it a time or two, but there was some sort of pleasure of working with ones hands, especially with food and gardening. Not that she was about to voice any of that, not to people she just met, at least. She nodded, “No trouble at all!” She offered him a smile.

And then the door opened and the two giggling fairies walked in. Az would offer them both a smile, as she was still smiling through out the whole thing, though it wasn’t strained yet. She gave a wave to both the girls before hearing Shamus and Joseph once more. She had opened her mouth to ask such questions, and she would be silent just a moment to see if he did reply to said questions, if he did not, Az would smile to him. “Any special way you like your BLT’s? “ She would wait his words and move from there. She wasn’t giving up just yet, she offered to make him a real one, and she was going to see it through! Stubborn girl she could be. Besides Shamus and Joseph would then be free to help out the two women that had entered.

She wasn’t trying to be a hassle, but when they tried to get her out of what she said she would do, her heels were dug in.

And that was the time she noticed Kyra walking in. A smile and a wave, tthough she would leave her order to the two men.

"There sure are a hell of a lot of people up at three in the morning," Mael observed as he saw yet another person enter and sit down at the bar. Damn.

Maybe if he would have stopped by the bar that night when he had the phone call he would have run across the same amount. Didn't know and there was no point in thinking about it. He was here to get something to eat and move on to what he was going to do next.

Though judging by the state of things these people were night creatures in the sense that they were up at night. Not otherwise.

The new chick who sat down was short and that most likely had something to do with her race. He glanced at her for a moment or two before directing his attention back to Lilac - the new chick hadn't said anything so he didn't say anything to her - as she would be making his food. He knew that he had it right, the chick wanted to take care of her last order before calling an end.

"Crispy bacon, four strips along the bread. White with mustard. Two slices of tomato and crisp lettuce." That would do it.

"And half a shot of vodka and half red wine." Adding in the drink to complete it.

When she said baby ... its three am ... I must be lonely, she certainly was not at this hopping Inn's bar. And hearing the man she was going to be waiting on's words, she felt a small laugh under her breath threaten to escape, though she held it in, somehow. She wasn't very good at holding things in, and perhaps her cheeks turned a nice light pink color for the moment, not for being embarrassed but from holding it all in.

Azlin herself was not a night creature so to speak nor was she a day creature either, she was an odd time creature. Yes, one day at three am she might be sleeping the next standing behind a bar, wanting to help a soul out. And so when she heard him speak her baby blues left Kyra, whom she knew from the other Inn, and a mutual friend. She didn't want to make him wait longer then she had to, he seemed hungry. "I can handle that. Now...do you want your bread toasted?" She knew some enjoyed the toasted bread while others preferred the bread fresh. She wasn't trying to give him a hard time. She would wait for him to answer that, before smiling with a nod, she also caught the drink that he requested. "'ello there Kyra! Iffen you wait a moment I am sure that one of the men will be right with you." She did not wish for anyone to think she was stepping on toes, nor did she wish for Kyra to feel as if she was ignoring her, for that was not the case! She was walking the balancing beam of sorts one might say.

Once she spoke to Kyra she paused, a moment looking to the man. "I shall be right back!" She spoke as she did disappear into the back to make his food. Watching out for the men, on her way, she did not want to be in the way, but without going into the kitchen how was she going to make the food by hand? And she was going to make the food by hand.

Now normally, Shamus and Joseph would have gotten upset and asked again for the lady to have a seat. After all, it was their job and not hers. And even though they were trying to not blow her cover, she truly didn't work there. And if she got caught in the kitchen, they could get in trouble. But then again, no one specifically said she didn't work here. Now did they? So if she got caught, they were innocent.

And as for the way the guy on the other side of the bar spoke to them, that would have to just be overlooked. After all, he was a customer and they were on duty. so they couldn't exactly tell the guy to loose the 'tude. So given they were going to let he blonde get away with helping, they'd get on with the others. Enter Kyra. Both smiled seeing the young fairy. Shamus spoke up as Joseph was still busy with his Irish beauties.

He walked closer to where Kyra was seated, but not too close. He didn't want to make her nervous. "Kyra, what can we get you this morning? You know, I usually only see the piles of animated dust up at this hour. You know, your Grandmother, Sel, and the Irish party posse over there. Kinda busy this morning." He smiled at her. He figured she wouldn't mind a little small talk. He wondered if she knew the over 200 crowd had that nickname.

People didn't have to say things in order to get a message across. It was called nonverbal communication and that's what had passed in a matter of moments. It was in that looked the guys gave Lilac when she went to the kitchen - he figured that's what that room was. That look said, "Hey, do whatever. Don't cry to me later." If Mael was wrong in the assumption it didn't really matter. If he was right? He'd wonder why they'd do that when she was just doing her job.

That's right. Her job. If it wasn't her job then they shouldn't have led on that she was a tendress or made her feel welcomed back there. Don't start a deception and get upset over it later. Somethings had to be seen through to the end.

"Lightly toasted." He was able to squeeze that last part in before Lilac vanished.

Now all there was to do was wait for his food since no one was talking to him.

Kyra waved and smiled as Azlin passed her to help the man sitting at the bar next to her. Once Shamus came up to take her order she still had that smile and made small talk. She wasn't that close with her family to know the nickname that was given to the over 200 crowd but she laughed all the same.

"Now you should know that I'm not that close with her yet to know what they call her or any of the others that are over 200. But I will take a turkey sandwich with provolone cheese, mayo and pickles on rye and water. If it's not to much trouble that is."

She kept that smile on her lips to show that she wasn't shying away from the conversation or talking about her as long as it was kept light enough. She looked down the bar at the man and smiled to him and figured she would make small talk with him to give Shamus time to get her food ready.

"Hello."

Most people never seemed to scratch the surface of an object, or a person in this matter, not that she minded very much. They could of called her out, but she was indeed a social person and Az adored meeting new people. She was a social creature, after all. It was not that she was looking for the next notch in her belt...she didn't normally wear a belt....for the record.

She would give Kyra a small wink as she slipped back into the kitchen. She had gotten the man's order and now she was about to get to work. First she had to locate all of the ingredients and the items she would need to make this for him. Once that mission was accomplished she would carefully move around the men as they moved back and forth with the kitchen stuff they were needing to use for the other guests.

Taking the two pieces of white bread, she would insert them in the toaster, moving the dial on the toaster to light. Though she did not press the toast down, just yet. Instead she got out the skillet she needed for frying the bacon. Placing it on the stove, she would place five strips of bacon, yes she knew he wanted four but she wanted a slice to munch. As she watched the bacon frying, so she would know when to turn it, she moved slightly to the counter, carefully putting a small cutting board there, she would chop the tomato for his blt. She would then grab a few slices of the lettuce that seemed to be prepared in the fridge, sniffing, before flipping the bacon and pressing the toast down in the toaster. She did sniff the lettuce for she wanted to make sure that it was fresh, not marinated in anything, and still had that crisp texture. Yes she could sense all of that with a sniff. Once the bacon was done she placed it on the small paper plate with the paper towel, where she blotted it lightly, enough to take off the grease but not enough to make the bacon taste like paper towel. Yes, her hands were clean, but we aren't going to get into that at the moment.

She would grab the bread when it popped up, lightly toasted as requested, and placed it seperate on the same plate. She applied the mustard to the one slice of the bread, before placing the two slices of tomato, lettuce and bacon, and topping it off with the other slice of bread. Now as she didn't know how he was with his mustard she would put a bit on a small cup to go along, incase he wished for more. She took care of all the leftovers quick like, before getting his shot. She took the glass and put a half a shot of vodka and a half a shot of red wine. Carefully she picked up the plate, setting the small thing of mustard upon the plate as well, picking up the glass she would slip out of the kitchen, back first, so not to knock either item out of her hands.

Moving carefully along the bar, in case Shamus moved she didn't want him to wear the man's food, she would seem to float as she reached him. Setting first the glass then the plate with the BLT down, speaking as she did so with a smile. "A BLT made with my hands, not from thin air! Though I wasn't sure if I put enough mustard on it...so I brought a bit extra, just in case." She did not know him personally and she knew some people liked to soak thier food in such condiments and others liked just a smidge of a helping, she had put on enough that you could tell it was there but the whole thing wouldn't taste like mustard.

Oh as for the dishes she had made, she would take care of them, but not until she knew that her customer was fine with his sandwich. And that extra slice of bacon, was still sitting back there on the paper towel.

Shamus just chuckled. "Yea, anyone who lives over two hundred years. Because a mortal human would be dust after two hundred years. How old is your dad again?" A wink and a grin was offered at the joke. "Ok, so that's a turkey with provolone and mayo with pickles on rye. And a glass of water?" He figured that this time of the morning she would either want caffeine or alcohol.

But he smiled and nodded. "Got it, and it's no trouble at all." He turned an pulled out a glass to get her some water. He used some ice that they had just crushed and put in the buckets in the freezer and poured some bottled water over it. He set the glass and the bottle down in front of her. The bottle still had some in it, she might want to add it after she drank it down some.

He smiled. "Be right back." And he waited for the blonde to get passed him and then he headed into the kitchen. He got out the bread and spread some mayo on it. Then he got the pre sliced turkey and provolone out of the fridge and added it. He put some pickle slices on the plate for her to add as she wished. Then he put the food away and took Kyra her food.

When he set the plate down he was all smiles again. "Here you go Kyra. I saw some fresh fruit in there if you would like some." He added that in case she was still hungry after the sandwich. There were still some glasses to be washed from earlier so he set to washing them as the wash station was close enough to Kyra that they could continue their small talk if she so desired.

That left Joseph taking care of Inion and Fia. If he could ever stop flirting with them. "Ya know, Fia, I get off at six. You'll probably be asleep, but I'll be free 'til Midnight. Maybe I could stop by and get a tour of your cottage?" Oh he was definitely forward. Especially with Fia. They were good friends, and they had a very good mutual understanding that went with their friendship.

While Lilac (he'd have to refer to her by that name because he didn't have her real one) was in the kitchen getting his order ready the chick on the other side of him was watching him again. Watching him between conversing with Shamus about those known as animated piles of dust. He figured they meant Vampires and other undead beings. Faes and elven lived long, even other mythical creatures. Hell, a tortise lived to be hundreds of years old as well. Certanly all of the aformented were not considered in that grouping of animated dust.

Conclusion, this chick Krya (one of the men had said her name) was related to an undead. Got it.

Speaking of Kyra, she said 'hello' so he'd look at her and say, "Hey," back before he went back to listening and waiting for his food. What else was he suppose to say, she may have only spoke for the purpose of letting him know she saw him.

The other chick, Lilac, came out from the kitchen and presented him with the sandwich that was made with her own hands. Mael, he picked it up and and looked it over before eying her hands. "However did you get your hands to look like a sandwich. Not to mention to grow back so quickly.".

Smart ass. That's what his family would have said to that comment. He only said it because she said it was made 'with' instead of 'by'; it was only playful banter.

Took a large bite from a corner, no need to be picking at the food like a bird or holding on to it like decoration. If he didn't want it then he wouldn't have gotten it. "Now all I need is my drink thank you." yeah the guy did know a thing or two about courtesy and displayed it when he felt like it.

There was no verbal 'the sandwich is fine' spoken but he tipped his sandwich to her before taking another bite.

The guy was hungry.

And he might not get her real name either. Being called Lilac wasn't so bad. And she would answer to it. He was that BLT guy, so it worked. She couldn't help but let out a small laugh, for he was quick witted and that amused her. She pulled out a straight face as she looked to the man. "It is a secret and if I told you, well ...." She just let that drift off. He could take that how he wished. But that telling grin was back upon her lips.

She would gently nudge the glass closer to him, for she had set that down before she set the plate down. She was not smirking nope, okay maybe just a little one. "Here ya are." And the fact the man was eating his sandwich spoke for itself. She didn't need words for every little thing, that got annoying after a while.

She would shoot him a grin, and then slip into the back. Washing up the dishes she used, drying and taking care of said dishes. Then she grabbed that piece of crispy bacon, and walked back into the bar munching on it. Baby blues looking over the others in there debating what her next move was going to be. Staying or going.

Kyra laughed a little at the comment that Shamus had made about asking how old her dad was but then she started thinking and thinking for this young faerie would prove disastrous right now. She was mentally taking inventory of how old she was going to live versus how old a friend of hers was going to live and that made her sad because up until now she never thought about it. She sat there silently eating her sandwich and nibbling at the fruit he left for her as she was still mentally doing calculations. She would have continued talking to the other man but he was eating and she didn't want to be a bother to him and everyone else seemed busy so she stayed to herself.

Yeah, he heard that line before, even used it himself a couple times to the vexation of others who were always pressing him for information. He appreciated where she was coming from when she said it and therefore she was given a slight nod as he saw her push his glass closer and then head back to the kitchen. She was alright. Lilac.

He finished off his sandwich and took his glass. Kyra, the chick on the other side of him, had this deeply contemplative look on her face after that bit of laughter as though her happiness were suddenly cut off. Funny. Sometimes people laugh and then realize that what they were laughing at really isn't and then it causes them to think. Mael gave her half a look before he polished off his sandwich and washed it down with a deep swallow of the drink. Lilac had mixed it proper well.

He put his cup down on the bar and soon after Lilac came out from the kitchen and to him she looked lost as she chewed and looked around. It was in her stature, the way she stood there looking. Now that she was done with his order she probably didn't know what came next. Unless he ordered something else her shift was over. She hardly looked anxious to move on.

Well, this had been fun and he was done. There was something else he had wanted to do tonight. This morning. Whatever the personal preference.

With that in mind Mael got up and flicked a dust speck off his arm cuff. "You may as well come with." He spoke to Lilac in a nonchalant way as he pushed in a chair with his foot and turned from the bar. If she came or not was up to her, as well as anyone else. People were free to do what they wanted, if they wanted to follow him then that was on them.

The change in Kyra's expression spoke volumes, and had Shamus thinking 'oh crap, what did I do now?' He watched her for a moment before he spoke. "Kyra, you ok?" Honest question. He was worried that he had upset her. He finished up the dishes ad walked over to Joseph to pop him on the back of his head.

Then he walked over and grabbed himself a can of soda then leaned against the bar near Kyra. The blonde guy was leaving, so Shamus gave his parting words. "Have a nice day sir." He then returned his attention to Kyra. "Talk to me about it sweety." Ok,m so it was a cliche', but he could listen and try to help.

Joseph getting popped on the back of the head reminded him that he was supposed to be working, not flirting. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a GP. He walked over and handed it to the blonde. "Thanks for covering the bar for us while we took inventory sweety." He smiled at her and then the guy.

He returned to the bar over by Inion and Fia. "Ok, my lovely Irish Roses, what'll you have? Or is this just a social call?" Yep, back to flirting, it was his nature after all. If the blonde had come in as a customer, he would have flirted with her too. But when they found her she was working the bar for them.

Baby blues glanced back to Kyra, she did not seem like she wanted company, at least not the company of one Miss Azlin. She seemed a bit to deep in thought for Azlin at this time of the morning. Nothing wrong with being deep in thought, just sometimes well, anyhow, that left Azlin unsure what she should do. Should she stay and wait for the man to get done with his food, so she could clean up. Her nose would wrinkle a bit at that, she might love to cook, it was the cleaning that got her down.

And she noticed that the place seemed to have been falling asleep as they stayed there. The bar was def. not hopping at the moment. And that was also when the man whom had been introduced as Joseph came up, and handed her a gold piece. She wasn’t going to question it, though she had not helped him for financial reward, more just because it was in her nature of being social, and helping. But she did not wish to offend the man either, so she would pocket it. “Thank you.” Yes, there was pockets in her gown, even if one did not see them. Her hand slipped quickly in and out to deposit the gold piece inside.

When he paid her, she knew her shift was done, and it was not like the two men were incapable of helping out those left in the bar. So when BLT flicked his dust speck off his shirt cuff, and offered to let her tag along. She figured why not. She might learn something, and he seemed to be the most animated of the room, and she was not yet ready to go to bed. “Thanks.” She wasn’t in an overly talkative mood, at the moment. She would give a wave to Kyra, for she did know the woman, met her a time or two atleast, and then she was off following BLT.

She wasn’t a loud walker, she was more of a floater, the graceful steps that allowed one to sneak up on someone, but we aren’t going to get into those stories. The only thing that was, was she was following the man, he said she could!

(sorry it's taken me so long. no interent service.)

Fia grabbed Inion by the arm and headed toward the bar and sat her down next to the young man at the bar. This of course got her a glare from Inion, there was only one reason Fia would place her there and that was to get her to flirt with him.

Inion rolled her eyes and gave a little sigh, she was giving up on love and the such for a while. Those things didn't seem to be going her way lately. She did of course give Joseph and Shamus a very big smile and waved at Kyra and gave the young man a smile and a nod of hello. She did have to keep from giggling when she heard Shamus called them the Irish party posse and stuck her tongue out at him with a wink.

Fia had a thing for Joseph, her usual kinda thing nothing overly mushy and romantic, just one of those mutual arraingment of companionship and mutual interest. So there she was flirting full force with Joseph in true fairy style. "Six huh, and what makes you think I would need a rest." These Irish fairies didn't need alot of rest if any. "but I can understand if you want to get some rest and recharge, cause you know you will need it to keep up with me babe." Her laughter filled the room in a very different way. Fia's laugh was seductive while Inion was musical. "We would love something to eat though, hmmmm, ham and cheese omellites, hash browns, sausage and O.J. please" It was thier tradition to get a big breakfast after a night out clubbing.

Inion watched as the two people leave. She seemed fairly quiet at the moment as if she was just watching.

Shamus had seen Inion's tongue, but had been busy. Now that he had a second, because Kyra was being so hush hush about what was wrong, he had a chance to retort. "By the way Inion, don't stick that out unless you're going to use it." He laughed as he waited for Kyra to be ready to talk.

Joseph couldn't help but laugh. But then he returned his attention to Fia. "Oh I don't know babe, I can hold my own, you know that. But maybe I should at least go get cleaned up and catch twenty winks." He grinned. If he recharged his batteries he would have a whole lot of energy for her to enjoy.

But then the breakfast order was placed. "Coming right up ladies." With a wink at Fia he headed for their drinks first. Two tall glasses of ice cold, freshly squeezed orange juice. Once they had those, he headed into the kitchen to cook. It took a few minutes, but he brought them their breakfast.

He set it down on the bar before them with a smile. "On your room tab, right?" He figured they would say yes, and if they didn't he would add it to their tab. No way he was going to make them cough up GP's for their breakfast. He nudged Shamus and showed him that they had breakfast too, omelets.

Inion perked up when Shamus spook to her, she gave him a playfull look and a wink "oh I never stick it out unless I plan on using darlin' " She knew he was chatting with Kyra so she was being polite and letting them finish thier conversation. When breakfast arrived she ate, she loved breakfast it was amazing to her way people skipped it.

Fia laughed again "its always good to recharge a bit hun. I don''t want you to be all tuckered out for work after our ramp." She was wearing the biggest grin and when he brought breakfast she too ate. "Of course on our room tab hun, isn't that kinda like credit and what girl doesn't like credit." she gave him a wink.
