Finally ... Seleen and Shuda were home from their Honeymoon. They had planned on six months of touring Earth's greatest Waterfalls. And they had seen so many of them. Seleen had started out the trip making a scrapbook of all the places they were visiting. But she had lost interest in doing it the more places they saw. It wasn't that the places weren't beautiful. It was simply that she got too busy enjoying the beauty to take the time to make the scrapbook.

When they stopped in Las Vegas, they played around in a couple of casino's. Shuda, being the lucky man he is, won a brand new car. They had a whole lot of fun in that once they got all the paperwork done on it. Seleen was the one with a valid Driver's License for the United States, so it had to go in her name. But Shuda didn't mind. And he had fun learning to drive it from Seleen. He drove it well enough by the end of their trip that he drove home.

When they got home, Seleen noticed just how quiet it was around the Inn. But at the time, they were both too worn out by the trip home to go off in search of people to find out exactly why.

They were finally home after the long time away from home. After finally getting their stuff put away he sighs. “It’s finally good to be home huh love."

Seleen grinned. "Yep, sure is. Though, it is suspiciously quiet around here. Maybe they're just giving us a day to rest?" She walked out onto the back patio and opened the crate. Kaa slithered out of the crate and followed her inside. She waited for her to get all the way in before she closed the door back. There was now a fourteen foot albino python in the room with them.

He just looked at the python and smiled "I wonder who had to hold her. " he just chuckled as he shook his head. He walks over to Seleen and puts his hands on her hips.

She smiled. "Him, love. And his handlers put him in his crate. The driver was not happy to be transporting him." She chuckled as she picked up a bunch of him in her arms. Kaa coiled himself up in her arms, but some of his tail still hung to the floor. She moved to the couch and sat down, putting him in her lap. She began to stroke him as she sat back and relaxed.

He just smiled. "Well is there anything you wanted to do today love." he sits down next to her putting his hand on the python.

Kaa moved so that he was completely coiled on the two of them's laps. He liked Shuda. He was glad that Seleen had married him. Her ex-boyfriends read like a list of who's who when it comes to afraid of snakes. Shuda was cool. Seleen smiled as she watched Kaa show some affection to Shuda like that. "Well, evidently, scaly butt here thinks we need to just sit here for a bit. But I was really looking forward to some rest. Maybe in a few minutes, after he feels safe enough to move, we can go to our room?" They hadn't been in their own bed in so long. They had taken extra time on their honeymoon.

“Sure sweety" he just smiled as he felt the snake on his lap. He really did not mind the snake. He has been around for a long time. So to him the snake was cool.

She leaned over and rested her head on his shoulder. "It really does feel good to be home. The trip was a lot smoother in the car though. Your driving is getting much better." She had been teaching him to drive while they were away, and he had been getting better all the time.

“Well it is a new thing, but it is still funny. I am faster than it." He just chuckled a bit. Yes he did like it, but he still had a weird feeling about being in a metal box.

She laughed. "Careful love, a few well done tweaks and I could fix that." She was making little swirls on Kaa's head with her fingertip.

He laughed. "Please. Once it breaks the sound barrier, then you can talk." He put his arm around her shoulder and pulled her close.

She grinned wickedly as she rested her head against his chest. "Don't tempt me baby." Kaa was moving around again. He was starting to look around the room, but still hadn't left the safety of their laps yet.

He just chuckled. "Sure love, think what you want." He moved his hand up to her ear and slowly traced her ear lobe.

She closed her eyes and moaned softly. "Mmmmm. Nitrous Oxide love." She smiled as she kept her eyes closed and just enjoyed his touch.

“Do you honestly think that will work?" He let his finger trace her ear and down her neck. And since it was just them, he let his hand trail a little bit down her shirt.

She grinned. "Enough of it will." But she would never actually do that to his car. She just liked to tease him. After all, was he not teasing her?

“Yeah right." With that, he just let his hand crawl down her shirt and let his hand get under her bra.

She leaned more to the side, along his chest, giving him more room to reach down her shirt. After all, his arms were only so long. Kaa had crawled up the other side of his chest and moved to look behind them at the rest of the room. He was investigating. Hopefully, he would decide to go explore soon, once he started crawling all over them, he seemed so heavy. At least in their laps he was disbursing his weight more evenly.

He did not mind the weight. He knew his wife was getting hot under the collar since he felt her move so he moved his hand down a little bit more to let his middle finger touch her and started to rub letting his finger do circles.

She moaned again. He truly was teasing her. And she was enjoying every second of it. Kaa was moving along the back of the couch, but he was fourteen feet long, so there was a lot of him still in their laps.

“You are liking that huh?" He then took his middle and index finger to give her a little pinch. He whispered into her ear. "Harder or softer"

Another moan. Oh she was very much enjoying this. "Mmm, just right." She placed her hand along his thigh now that more of Kaa had moved. But at her angle, holding the inside of his leg like she was, was the best that she could do.

He just smirked as he moved his hand more. He finally had his thumb where it needed to be for him to give her a tug with his thumb and index finger. "I always love it when you moan."

As much as he loved hearing her moan, she cried out in response to his playing. Not because it hurt, but because it felt so damned good.

“I guess you want more huh?" He massaged the mound of flesh his hand was upon while he continued to torment her with his thumb and forefinger.

She gasped and moaned again. Sleep was not going to be what happened in their bed when Kaa let them up. She gripped his thigh and clenched her other fist.

“Should I stop love?" He slowly let go of her and slowly started to move his hand up.

She grabbed his wrist. "Hell no." She chuckled and opened her eyes to look up at him. "Unless you're not having fun of course." She winked at him.

He just chuckled as he moved his hand back to its spot and gave her a good pinch. "Now why would you say I was not having fun?"

She chuckled and closed her eyes again. "Just asking baby. Just asking." She could feel the weight lifting more and more, little bits at a time. Kaa was starting to really look around.

He just smirked as he leaned forward and took her earlobe into his mouth. He nibbled on her ear as he pinched her again.

She moaned again. Her loudest and longest moan yet. And Kaa had finally freed them. They could get up and move any time now. She knew she would have to open the door a little bit for Kaa to go back out to his crate if he needed to. So she made note to take care of that on their way to the room.

~So, do you want to go to our bed room?~ He just pinched her again as he bit down on her earlobe.

She moaned again and smiled. "Absolutely baby." She was more than ready to go to bed with her husband.

He just chuckled as he removed his hand from her shirt and smirked. "Well if you want me you better hurry up and get in the nude." He leaned down and bit her on the neck.

She moaned again when he bit her, and then she slid from his grip and ran to the door, opened it just enough for Kaa to get into his crate, and ran into the bedroom, all in the blink of an eye. And she was naked before her ass hit the bed.

He laughed as he got up and walked into the bedroom looking at his wife up and down. "What a vision of beauty." He started to walk over to the bed and slowly started to remove his clothes.

She grinned at him. "Or so you say." She laughed and watched the show he was putting on for her with this slow removal of his clothes.

Post by Catrina "Cat" Masterson Sat Mar 31, 2012 12:07 am

It was Catrina who first noticed the newlyweds were home. She had been out with Penelope early in the morning and had gone around behind the cottage to check on the snake. She had been doing so since the snakes arrival, even thought it had been the fairies that had been tasked with such. She had figured that an extra pair of eyes couldn't hurt.

But this morning, something was different. The glass door was opened a little for the snake to be able to go in and out of it's crate. Cat was happy to see this. For two reasons. One, because she would finally get to meet the snake. And two, Seleen and Shuda needed to be brought up to date on what had happened. And Cat was going to take care of that right this minute.

She knew Tasha had her hands full, and she wasn't Seleen's biggest fan anyway. So Cat went back around to the front of the cottage and knocked upon the door. She had sent Penelope to go play with Willow. There was no need for a wise ass Pindragon in this conversation. And Pen was as wise assed as they came. So, patiently, Cat waited alone at the door for someone to answer.

He groaned a little as he started to wake up from the knocking. "One of the first days back and someone has the knock on the door." he chuckled as he got up from his wife's side and looked down at himself. Yeah it would be a bad idea to open the door naked so he found a pair of shorts and started to slowly walk to the door. He scratched his soemthing before he opened up the door. When he finally got the door open he moved his right hand on top of his head and scratched his head with the mild yawn. He looked at the person and smiled. "Cat is it right?" If she were to stare at his eyes she would see the fires behind them as he smiled. And with him being in only shorts she could also see the tone muscles under the fairly tanned skin ripple as he moved around. "How can I help you this morning." Or so he thought it was morning.

Ok, it was official, Cat was in hell. When the door opened she saw Shuda standing there in nothing but a pair of shorts. First there was all the tasty looking male employees running around, then the hot blonde guy who disappeared, then that Spaniard Leo who came to visit Lady Inion, now Shuda was half naked at the door? Could it get any worse?

~Business, focus on the business at hand Catrina.~ At least that is what she told herself as she stood there blushing like a school girl. She cleared her throat before she started to speak.
"Um, yes. Cat. Uh, Lord Jordianthan instructed us all to give a ... What did he call it? A sit rep? Yes, a sit rep to whomever came across you and your wife upon your arrival. Given I found you guys back first, I guess I am elected." She drew in her bottom lip and bit it nervously.

He wondered for a moment why she was blushing but did not think anything of it as he opened the door wider. "Um....sure. Why do you not come in and give me the sit rep, Seleen is sleeping at the moment." He got out of the way for her to come in. "So what seems the be the problem. We have been gone for a very long time so....." That is all he said as he waited for her to walk in so he could close the door.

She gave a slight nod as she slipped out of her shoes and stepped into the cottage. "Thank you." She was a little nervous about being there with Seleen asleep. She didn't know Seleen very well, and wasn't sure how she would take another woman being alone with her husband. Especially with him being half naked.

She walked a little ways into the cottage and stood there with her hands clasped in front of her. She was looking at the floor, not really head down, just looking at the floor a little ways in front of her.
"Perhaps you should wake Seleen? She might want to hear this as well." She didn't want there to be any problems. She also didn't want to have to repeat this.

He closed the door and walked into the living room and looked at her as she made the comment about waking up Seleen. He chuckled a little bit as he shook his head and brought his right hand up and waved it in front of him. "Pardon the expression but she sleeps like the dead. It is very hard to wake her so for the moment it is fine." He walked into the kitchen area and opened up the fridge before looking at her. "So what seems to be the problem and would you like something to drink?" He kept his hand on the fridge door as he looked at her waiting to see if she wanted anything.

Cat smiled and even gave a sort of chuckle. She moved to a chair and sat down, crossing her left leg over her right. "Do you have any bottled water?" She looked over at the glass door to see what the snake was doing. It was moving towards her slowly. She wasn't scared. Even if it was a really big snake. That kept getting bigger the more of it that came in the door. Ok, maybe a little scared. She raised Pindragons, she wasn't used to reptiles this big.

She did her best to ignore the approaching behemoth and she looked towards the kitchen.
"Would you believe that I had to ask what a sit rep was? I had no idea." She felt kind of stupid for having to ask that. And even stupider for admitting it to him. But when she got nervous, she rambled. Which, of course, made her feel bad for Shuda. After all, he was about to sit down and listen to her ramble on and on about what's been going on around there.

He just smiled and nodded as he took out two bottles was water from the fridge and closed the door behind him as he walked over to her handing her the water. He looked down and smiled as he saw Kaa get closer and closer to Cat. "Don't worry about him, you are a new person so he is interested." With that he walked over to the couch, sat down and opened up his water to take a sip as he listened to her and nodded. "So what seems to be the problem, that the husband of Venis asked to give us a sit rep." He took another sip as he looked at her waiting to hear what kind of news she was bring with her.

Post by Catrina "Cat" Masterson Sat Apr 28, 2012 9:45 am

Cat took the offered water bottle. She twisted it open and took a swig. The snake was freaking huge. How could she not be worried about a snake that could crush her entire body? But Shuda said not to worry so she was going to try.

She took a second swig of the water while he got sat down. Now, where should she start? She figured she should just start from what she knew to be the beginning and tell him everything she knew. So she began with the visit from Venis' family.

She took a second to remember who all was there that day according to what she'd heard.
"Well, a while back, Lord Dreconis, Lord Gawain, Kyra and Madeline came by the Inn. They were playing in the lobby with Venis. But I guess things got out of hand somehow." She thought about that for a moment.

She had that right, those were the people, so she continued.
"So Venis tried to fix something that was wrong or something, and she somehow ended up at her Keep. She had been trying to get to her bed here, but ended up there." She was pretty sure that was what happened.

Now she had to remember what else she was told.
"Well, she woke up later and tried to leave and found out that she couldn't just poof out. So she tried to walk out and that's when the crap hit the fan I guess." Was that right? Yea, that was it.

She took another drink of water before she continued.
"When she tried to leave, disasters kept happening. And a few times, people even died. Some animals, and some people. And it wasn't just one time. It was like every time she tried to leave." That part really upset her.

She bit her bottom lip for a moment.
"The last time, a part of the catacombs collapsed. It was a part under her Granddaughters house. She was scared to death that she had lost her Granddaughter." She hated to say that. The thought was scary even to her.

Then she remembered something she forgot.
"Oh, I forgot the part about the fact that she could feel her loved ones in danger. Kyra, Madeline, Lord Dreconis and Lord Gawain. So when the house collapsed she freaked out." She had to tell that part too.

She continued on with the story.
"So she like was going crazy, not knowing where her Granddaughter was and what not, and she like started trying to gain extra power somehow. I guess she was like trying to break free of the Keep." She wasn't too sure what happened there.

She was sure about the next part though.
"So Lord Eros, Lord Kahn, Lady Inion, Casandra, Emilia, and their animals, all tried to help her escape. But somehow she ended up destroying the castle. Then she got them all out of there and took off to New Haven. While she was there she killed people." And that was all she knew.

But then she remembered something else.
"Oh, and she took off from New Haven through a portal and then she Lord Kahn and some others are out searching for her. But so far, no one has found her. She keeps getting away before they get to her." And that was the whole story. So she sat and waited for Shuda to say something.

He sat there and listened to what she was saying at one point he even was about to take a sip he just stopped as the information that she was giving him was taking more and more of a downhill spiral, his eyes got wider......maybe it was a good idea not to wake Seleen because if he did, she would be going nutters trying to get things together so she could try and find Venis and from what he has heard so far. The Goddess did not want to be found. He did know her but didn't at the same time and from his understanding of gods, they could pretty much do what they wanted and if they wanted to disappear well that was on them. So yes he was worried for the Goddess but also knew that she was capable of handling things herself. So he decides to wait until Seleen got up to tell her. After a few moments he just smiled at Cat and nodded. "Well that.....was interesting to say the least. That is a lot of things to have happen for the almost year that we were gone on our honeymoon." He gave a light chuckle remembering a few things. "Is there anything else that has been going on?" his question for sincere because he thought that there might have been other things that have happen around the Inn.

Cat took another drink of her water. "Oh, no, she was only trapped in the Keep for about a week. She's been gone for nearly a year." How badly would that shock him? She wasn't sure what to tell him about the rest of the year that they were gone.

She thought about it for a moment as she took another drink of her water. Half gone at this point. But so long as she kept drinking it, she could keep thinking before she spoke.
"Tasha has been trying to keep things running. Well, her and Manny. Manny and Gwen have postponed their wedding indefinitely. They want Venis here, and healthy." That was a good place to start.

She wasn't sure what else to tell him.
"Other than that, people have been coming and going as they report back about not being able to find her. There's been reports of people seeing her in the New Haven area, but she's gone again just as fast. And through it all, Tasha is going crazy trying to keep up with Venis' responsibilities, and a pack of lycanthropes she found and sort of adopted." That pretty much covered it.

Just looked at her and tilted his head. "I know we have only been gone a year but damn that is a lot of things to go down in that little bit of time." He chuckled and shook his head before looking at her again. "What to you mean Tasha has a group of lycans and sort of adopted." Did Seleen and Him get back to the right realm, he sure hoped so because even he was started to find things a little out there and he has been around for a long time.

Cat shrugged and looked a little tired for a moment. "I never realized how much Venis did until Tasha tried to keep up with it all. I've tried to be a help, so has Ali, our oldest sister. But Venis just has so many things to keep track of. There's employees to pay, bills to pay, upkeep on the Keep, her house, her night club." She wasn't sure what else to say about the situation.

And then there was Tasha's own responsibilities.
"That little elf girl that came to you guy's wedding. She came running up here to the Inn one night and got Tasha and Ha'Ruil out of bed. They took off to help the girl's boyfriend and when they came back they had a bunch of lycanthropes with them. Tasha put them up here at the Inn, she's kind of become their alpha." She was aware of more than her little sister thought.

And she was finding out more information the more she tried to help her little sister.
"She's paying to support them all. Paying for their rooms, buying them clothes and toiletries and all that. She's getting low on funds though. She doesn't know that I know. I payed the bar tab for them all for the last six months, but I can't afford much more than that. Ali took them all shopping a couple months ago to get them their toiletries and some clothes and stuff." Cat was a little worried about the financial situation.

She had an idea though.
"I think that some, if not all, of them need to go out and get jobs and start paying their own way. But Tasha said she wasn't going to press the issue with them until things calm down around here. I think that if she had an extra pair of hands or two, she might have more time to deal with the lycans. She has Manny and Ha'Ruil, and of course, the other employees. But she's still drowning." She silently wondered if Seleen and maybe Shuda would be able to help her little sister out with some of the work.

There's no place like home ... There's no place like home. Empty Re: There's no place like home ... There's no place like home.

Post by Lt. Seleen Darkite Wed May 09, 2012 5:46 am

Yawn, stretch, reach and roll. Empty bed? Shuda was up already? Then Seleen heard voices in the living-room. A female voice to be exact. Who in the hell was in her living-room? Only one way to find out. So Seleen rolled out of bed and moved to the dresser.

She yawned and stretched again. Nothing like waking from a dead sleep. She pulled out the top drawer of the dresser and grabbed a pair of Shuda's shorts. She stepped into them and pulled them into place. She was surprised that she had maintained her ballance in doing so. She was so not a morning person. Then she grabbed out a T and pulled it over her head as she started to walk towards the door.

When she got out of the room she saw Shuda sitting on the couch and the dark hair of a woman. Only one dark haired woman she knew around here, unless this was someone who hadn't been here before they left. She headed for the kitchen and turned to look as she walked past, stepping over Kaa, who was on the verge of going up the side of the chair to become a lap pet for the female.

When she saw who it was she yawned and spoke.
"Morning baby. Cat? It is Cat, right?" She didn't even stop on her way to the kitchen. She opened the cabinet and pulled out a glass and then got a bottle of blood wine out. She poured herself a glass, but it wasn't a wine glass. It looked like she was drinking a tumbler of V8 or something.

She moved back to the living-room and sat down next to Shuda. She curled her legs up in front of her and leaned forward so that she was touching him.
"Who's drowning, and if they're drowning, why are you two still sitting here and not out pulling them out of the water to save them?" She had heard a little while she was waking and putting something on. She snapped her fingers and Kaa changed directions. Now he was headed over to join Seleen and Shuda on the couch.

Shuda smiled as Seleen came over to him and put an arm around her for a moment before he removed his arm from her and looked up in the air trying to remember everything that Cat had just told him as he started to count on his fingers. "Ok Venis had some family come over to the Inn, it got screwed up people got pissed and left,Um..... Venis left to the Keep could not get out. Had a few people come over to her, Eros, Jon Luis, Emilia, Cass and a few others." He took a breath before starting again.

"They were able to help her out of the castle but now the castle is in ruins.Um.. No one can find Venis or know what she is up to. Tasha during this time found a group of lycans that are now in the Inn and she is their provider with the help of Ha'ruil, Manny and the rest of the employees." He kept on looking up to the ceiling. "Well I think that about covers it." He looked at Cat. "Am I correct?" Now he just waited for her response.

Catrina nodded when Shuda looked at her. "Yes, that about covers it." She had said it with a lot more detail. But he had the gist of it. If Seleen wanted details, all she had to do was ask.

She looked at the snake, it was changing directions and going over to Seleen. Cat felt a little relieved. After all, she had not expected it to be so huge.

Seleen listened to Shuda as Kaa slithered up into their laps. She was nodding and yawning as she had just woke up. When Shuda was done, and Cat confirmed his story, Seleen was silent for a half a second. Then it started to dawn on on her everything her beloved husband has said.

Her eyes shot open and she couldn't keep the shock and slight hint of panic from her voice.
"Wait. What? She couldn't get out of the Keep? Why is the castle in ruin? No one can find her? How long has she been gone?" She needed to know. She was a little worried at the moment. As far as the hairball and her lycan's, Sel really couldn't care less.

"Um....yeah my understanding is that she left a few weeks after we left for our year vacation." He put an arm around her. "Relax hun, we both know that if Venis needs our help than we will find out. Do you honestly think that Eros cannot find her. He most likely has his eyes on her and just wants to make sure that not harming herself in anyway. Because if there was a really big issue that needed us back. Someone would have contacted us." And to be honest to him that was a very logical way of thinking about it. he just hoped that Seleen would see it the same way.

Catrina listened to Shuda try to answer Seleen's questions. But she ended up clearing her throat once he was done. "Forgive me, but I think you should know that Lord Eros cannot find Venis either. Some of the employees brought up the idea of contacting you guys back on Earth, but Tash said she had no way of doing so because the cell phones didn't go through to you. That was why Lord Kahn wanted someone to give you guys a sit rep when you got here. She's been gone about a year now, and in a very foul mood from what I've heard, and not even other God's can find her." She felt it was necessary for the two of them to know these things.

Seleen continued to listen. She was calming down as Shuda spoke. He had a point. But then she heard what Cat said and her eyes widened even more. Kaa had run under her hand and across her lap and had slid into Shuda's lap. Once he was done saying good morning he had started to go off the couch and back towards Cat.

When Cat was done speaking, Seleen freaked. She repeated some of what Cat had said in her mind. Venis was in a foul mood, a very foul mood. Been gone about a year. Oh crap!
"Oh God's!" She jumped up and headed for the door. She didn't even take time to change. The only thing she made sure of was that the door was closed so that Kaa couldn't get out.

When he heard what Cat said about the other gods not finding he just closed his eyes and shook his head for a moment. "Crap" is what he whispered as he heard Seleen freak out sort of speak before he heard her run out the door. He just sighed and smiled at Cat "Well I do apologize about this but as you can see I have to go chase after my wife. You can stay and watch over Kaa if you would like while we are gone, When ever you please please make sure that the sliding glass door is open just enough for Kaa to get out. " With that he smiled at Cat picking his right foot up and tapping the floor once, a rush of air ran through the house as the sliding glass door started to stop with a gap for the snake. His after image still smiling at Cat before it started to dissipate.

Cat whipped her head around to barely see Seleen as she ran out of the front door. She was shocked. What had she said? She looked back to Shuda and opened her mouth to speak. She didn't even really notice the snake climbing up the chair she was sitting in.

But before she could speak, Shuda was excusing himself and saying she could stay and visit with Kaa. But then he was there, or not there, but she was still looking at him. Or was it him? Was he fading away?
"Uh, um, oh, ah ... Ok." And he was gone. She hadn't even gotten out a word to him.

It was then that she looked down to see the snake starting to curl up in her lap. He was heavy, that was for sure. So since Shuda said she could stay and visit with the snake, and she honestly did not feel like trying to lift him off of her lap and perhaps pissing him off, she chose to stay and let the snake leave her lap when he was good and ready.

Seleen was out the door, and across the gardens before Shuda could have caught up with her. In fact, he probably would have seen the door to the Inn closing behind her. She was headed for the stairs and the hairball. She was going to find out more about what was going on. Because if her suspicions were correct, there were a whole lot of worlds and possibly millions of beings in trouble.
