The Search Empty The Search

Post by Emilia Wed Apr 28, 2010 10:45 am

Emilia was sound asleep when she heard a banging on the door. She was awake instantly. No one here banged on door so something had to be wrong. She got out of bed; this was not her room but she would be the one that could dress quicker. As she moved to the door the air around her shimmered; clothes appeared and she was fully dressed before she reached the door. When she opened it she found the out of breath nanny standing there with Hopper beside her. It was her daughter.

The nanny was banging on the door; she had known that she would be here and not in her own rooms. The door was opened less than a minute after she had knocked. "Goddess Emilia I am sorry but when I woke up this morning your daughter was gone."

Emilia barely heard the whole sentence before she was off running to her room Hopper was following her. Iluvenis probably just wanted to sleep in her own bed. She flung the door open and ran straight to her daughters room. No one was there. Her heart began to sink. She knelt down and looked Hopper in the eyes.

~Where is Iluvenis?~

In her mind she pictured her daughter as she had last seen her.

~She read a paper and flew out the window~

Em would see images of them playing tug of war with the teddy bear. The bear got ripped in half and a piece of paper fell out. Iluvenis read it and then flew out the window.

"Hopper stay here."

She ran out of her room the door slamming behind her and left the Inn to go search the gardens. The longer she searched the more frantic she got and the worse the weather overhead became.

(Since I was not given a time table between when Iluvenis left and Hopper was taken I am going to take the liberty and assume that it was a few days. I will finish this when I return from work)

Post by Emilia Thu Apr 29, 2010 12:39 am

The portly older nanny was running as fast as she could trying to keep up with Emilia. She reached the landing on the third floor just as Emilia was coming down. "Did you find her?"

"No."

It was all Emilia said as she continued down and out.

The nanny went to Venus' room and began to knock loudly on the door. When it was opened the nanny made a small curtsy. "I beg your pardon Goddess; but the Goddess Emilia's daughter is missing. She searched her rooms and then left the Inn. Apparently the child was not there." She was clearly upset.

Emilia went to the stables Iluvenis really liked the Unicorns so it was a logical place to start.

When she reached the stables she looked into every stall. She went to the hay loft and began looking around up there calling her daughter's name. She was throwing the loose straw and hay all over digging in piles. When she came down she checked both the tack and feed rooms.

The last thing she did was go to the unicorns and ask if they had seen her daughter. They had not seen her in a week. She looked at her watch; it had taken an hour to search the stable. She was going to need help.

Leaving the stable she headed back to the Inn. Before she got there she was soaked to the bone. She was so worried that there was a steady rain falling.

The Search Empty Re: The Search

Post by Venis Jordianthan Mon May 03, 2010 7:25 am

The moment that the nanny started to panic it woke Venis. "Eros, wake up, somethings wrong. Meet me in the garden." Without even bothering to dress she headed out of her room and down the hall. She noticed that Kyra had not sleep there after the party. She was probably still with Madeline. But Isah had slept in the spare room in case Kyra had come back.

She pounded on the bedroom door on her way by. "Isah, meet me in the garden." She looked out on her balcony, in her kitchen, her sitting room, everywhere within her suite. By the time the nanny was pounding on her door she was reaching for the handle. She opened the door during the pounding. "Yes, yes, I know. Meet us in the garden." The door opened.

The nanny headed back to the stairs and Venis stepped out of her room. "Fantôme." With that one word in French, Venis no longer held her physical form. She appeared to be a apparition. Her long white robes flowed around her body. Her long sleeves covered her hands and gold sparkled along the trim of the V neck line. Gold ropes cinched the waist and dangled.

She could search faster this way. She didn't need to open doors or go down stairs. She could pass through any and all solid objects. It was what was referred to as her God form. And with this form she moved about the fifth floor. She searched every room of each of the four suites that were there. Then she levitated up to check the crawl space between the ceiling and roof.

She had come up empty so she went through the floor so she was now in the hall way of the fourth floor. She started with room four oh one. Tasha and Ha'Ruil's room. When Tasha opened her eyes and saw her floating through she thought she was dreaming. But Venis told her to meet them in the gardens. Tasha woke up Ha'Ruil and told him what Venis had said.

While Tasha and Ha'Ruil gabbed up some sweats and T-shirts and threw them on. Venis moved into the next room. They headed out the door and Venis woke Manny. She was searching each room for Iluvenis. She told Manny to meet them in the garden as well. He woke Gwen up and headed out there in his boxers and a T-shirt. Gwen threw on one of her white robes.

Venis made her way the rest of the way down the hall, searching each room. Then she crossed the hall and headed back the way she had come. When she got to two oh four and two oh two, she woke any employees who were in their rooms. All with the same message. Everyone was to meet her in the gardens. Everyone was heading out in whatever they slept in.

Having not found the child on the fourth floor, Venis headed to the third floor. She used the same pattern of down one side of the hall and back up the other. She woke Jimmy Ray, who headed out barefoot in his jeans and topless. Cat, who wore a plain white T and boxers. But she honestly tried to not wake up the guy with the feathered wings who she hadn't met yet.

Ali wasn't in her room. And Iluvenis wasn't in any of the rooms on the third floor. She went through the floor again and was on the second floor. She searched the ball room and all the closets and smaller rooms that were there. It was easy with not having to worry about doors or walking. It was making her search go a lot faster. But she still wasn't finding Iluvenis.

From the second floor she dropped down to the bottom floor. She thought to herself that this was a hell of a way to spend the morning after St. Valentine's Day. She started searching the first floor. She was looking behind things and under things. In closets, rooms, and anywhere else she could think of. She even stumbled across Kanna's room and found Ali in Tokeda's.

She woke Ali, trying to not wake Tokeda. This was not their problem. She had managed to not wake Kanna when she looked through his room. She told Ali to meet them in the gardens as well. Ali jumped up and pulled on a clean pair of Tokeda's boxers and one of his darker T-shirts. She managed to get all this done without waking Tokeda. She left him a note though.

Venis continued on her way through the Inn. She searched the hot tub room, the janitor's closets, the back patio, everywhere. Then she dropped down to the basement. She searched the sparing area, the gym, the wine cellar, the indoor pool, the sauna, and even closets and locker rooms. She left no stone unturned. It had taken about an hour and she was headed outside.

When she got out to where everyone was meeting up and conversing she figured she could retake her physical form again. "Solidifier." A solid bare foot touched the grass at that point. She kept her robes but was a solid being again. She looked over just in time to see Emilia coming from the stables. She shook her head to answer the unasked question in Emilia's eyes.

She looked over at everyone gathered around. Tasha and Ha'Ruil were in sweat pants and T-shirts, Manny in boxers and a T, Gwen in a more conservative version of the same type of robes as Venis. Isah was in just his boxers, as was Jason and Keven. Andrew was in a pair of jeans, and so was Jimmy Ray. Cat and Ali were also in boxers and T's. But poor Cat's was white.

The reason one would think poor Cat was because it was quickly becoming more and more overcast. And it had already started to rain. Soon, Cat's T would be pretty much see through. When Emilia got to the group Venis knew that she hadn't found Iluvenis. Venis sighed and closed her eyes. "Ok, here's what we need to do." She looked at Emilia and reached for her hand.

She looked back at everyone else. "Manny, Gwendolan, could you go wake Casie and Ivan?" She looked at the nanny. "Can I trust you to stay with DJ and Nat while the adults search?" The nanny nodded solemnly and headed to the cottage with them. "Jason, could you go get Inion and those at her cottage please? You guys go South and West, all of you." She sighed.

She turned to look towards Manny and Gwen. "Check the other stables and the grounds please." Her voice was slightly elevated so they could hear her and Manny waved to signal he did just that. "Tasha, Ha'Ruil, could you go North for us please? Cat, Ali, with them? Eros, that leaves us taking the forest to the East." She looked back to Emilia. She felt so bad for her.

She whistled. "Sswweee sswweeet. Swweeeee ssswwwww." Then she squeezed Emilia's hand. "Here comes Rapture. Take her into town to search. We'll meet back here every twenty-four hours until she is found. I promise, we will find out what happened." Rapture heard the whistle and she leaned her head over her stall gate. She used her horn to unlatch it and get out.

Rapture cam running at a good pace towards the gathering. That was when Venis released Emilia's hand and grabbed Eros' arm. "Come on." And with Eros in a pair of pants, with nothing else on, they headed into the woods. Everyone had their orders, and cottage doors were being pounded on.

The Search Empty Re: The Search

Post by Emilia Sun May 09, 2010 1:53 am

Emilia didn't know what to say she looked at everyone as they were all heading in different directions to begin the search and forced a smile.

"Thank you; all of you."

Emilia squeezed V's hand back and when she saw Rapture come running she reached over to grab her mane. She jumped up and somehow managed to make it up onto her back without falling off the other side.

~Rapture, we need to go to New Haven.~

There was even an urgency in her mental links. Rapture threw her head up and down like she was nodding. The top of her horn began to glow and she opened a portal to just outside New Haven.

Emilia led Rapture slowly through New Haven; she started a street by street search stopping and asking everyone she saw if they had seen her daughter. It was now pouring down rain. She was getting more and more worried as the search wore on.

Soon there was no one left outside due to the weather. Emilia slid off Rapture and began knocking on doors. Several hours had gone by; Emilia was soaked to the bone and the streets were now starting to flood. She continued walking from shop to shop and house to house. Rapture was following her closely putting her nose on Em's shoulder every once in a while trying to offer her comfort.

It was well past midnight and New Haven was almost completely searched. There were only a couple houses left. She knocked on a door expecting the same negative answer she had been getting all day.

The old widow sat up from her bed. "Now who could that be at this hour of the morning." She put on a robe and slippers and opened the door. She saw a drenched woman standing there. She looked like she had been crying and was muddy from the knees down. The white horse behind her looked in no better condition. "What is wron...." Before she could finish her sentence the woman spoke.

"I am sorry to wake you so early. I have been searching for my daughter."

She held out a picture of Iluvenis to her.

"Have you seen her? She dispersed about a day ago."

The woman looked at the picture and nodded. "I saw her early this morning; she was looking for a woman by the name of Arcadia Nyte. She was showing a birth certificate." She was confused now but it was not for her to understand. "She went off in that direction." She pointed out of the city in a northern direction.

Emilia was ready for the same negative answer she had been getting all day and was so happy that she found someone who at least remembered seeing her that the words about a birth certificate had not really sunk in; she didn't even remember the name that had been said. She hugged the woman tightly.

"Thank you."

She turned and ran to Rapture swinging herself up onto her back. She grabbed hold of her mane and left the woman to return to her sleep. She headed out of New Haven as dawn was approaching.

She rode further out of the city stopping at the few scattered farms. A few people had seen Iluvenis but it was scattered. She had no idea where her daughter may be heading.

It was approaching the twenty four hour mark so she had Rapture take her back to the Inn. She still had no idea where her daughter was but at least people had seen her.

Inion was the one that answered the door. She had felt something going on. After listening to Jason and giving him a nod she went and gathered the others. Juliet and Dia would go on foot with Jason and the fairies of course would put thier wings to use and spread out in flight to get a better view. Croga even agreed to help and soon was traveling through the air. Through the searching Inion kept having the feeling that they were not the luck she was hoping for in finding the little fairy, but that was not going to stop her from looking and helping.

The Search Empty Re: The Search

Post by Venis Jordianthan Wed May 19, 2010 4:36 am

((Kahn, Eros, Ha'Ruil, and Venis' younger children NPCed with permission. Sorry if I stepped out of line with Inion and her brood.))

The rain was pounding as everyone searched the areas that Venis has asked them to. Everyone was getting soaked. Just as suspected, Cat's T-shirt had become quite see threw. Ha'Ruil was nice enough to give her his for added coverage. Venis and Gwendolan being dressed in white robes were showing a little flesh as well. But nowhere near as bad given their robes were thicker than a T-shirt and had more layers as well.

DJ and Natalie had stayed home from school because they were too worried to go. So the nanny stayed with them, made sure they ate, even had them do some extra credit work to keep their minds off of what was going on outside. Because she knew that outside was chaos and stress and the children needed no part of either. So she busied them any and all ways that she could. And she kept the shades drawn so they couldn't watch out.

Manny, Gwendolan, Casie and Ivan were the first ones to get back to the front of the Inn. It was short of the twenty-four hour mark, but they had searched every square inch of the Inn's property. Every nook and cranny was explored and no stone was left unturned. They were most thorough. Even checking in the loose hay in the bottoms of the stalls, just in case. But they had found nothing, and gotten soaking wet for it.

A topless Ha'Ruil and the three Masterson sisters were the next to return. They had gone North as far as they could in twelve hours, then rechecked everywhere as they spend another twelve hours getting back. They got back slightly faster, it still being about thirty minutes shy of twenty-four hours. They had knocked on doors, checked in trees and anything and everything in between. Anywhere that she could possibly be.

As Jason, Juliet, Shamus, Inion, Joseph, Fia, William, Aryanna, Paul and Shayla all started arriving back, it was being discussed that they should all wait inside. So everyone started to head inside to the lounge. There was a fireplace in there. Though, it was feeling rather crowded already. So Shamus went to see if there was a fireplace in the meeting hall as well. When he came back and said that there was, everyone relocated again.

When Venis and Eros headed East, they cheated slightly. They portaled to Venis house, which was South and East of the Inn, on the other side of the forest. Eros checked Venis' dance club And The Beat Goes On. He put Jesse on alert to watch for the child. Then he searched the surrounding neighborhoods and town. Meanwhile, Venis informed Kahn of the goings on and he headed out with the kids and a group of forty Rangers.

When Venis left her house, she took the portal that was located indiscreetly beside the club. It came out at the corner of the wall that surrounded the Keep for The Society of the Blood Rose. She walked along the wall to find the gates still locked up tight. Schala's silver roses still thriving where they had been planted just outside. But Iluvenis was a fairy and could have flew over the wall. So Venis went over the wall as well.

She searched the entire Keep, every little place that Iluvenis could possibly be. She figured that Gypzee would feel her being in there, and if she came calling upon her for it she would be more than happy to explain. After all, with as well as she knew Gypzee, the Keep was most likely warded. But finding nothing, she left the Keep, and the place looked as if it had been untouched by her presence. So she searched while she made her way back.

Isah, Keven, Andrew, and Jimmy Ray had not been given a direction in which to search. So they headed East as well and searched the actual woods. They eventually ran into Eros, Venis, Kahn, and the four teenage children that were with them. They were the last group to return to the Inn before Emilia. They were all soaked to the bone as they headed inside. They found everyone in the meeting hall waiting by the fire trying to dry.

The Rangers were still out searching, but they all had their means of communication handy so they could be reached if things changed or if they found the child themselves. Venis walked over to the bar and asked that breakfast be prepared for thirty-one people, and two vampires. She informed them that three breakfasts needed to go to Casie's cottage. She felt bad that the substitute employees were still here when they should have been home.

She went back into the meeting hall and waited with everyone else. She found a place to sit and Giskarl came to sit to her right. He pushed his chair up against hers and hugged her arm, laying his head upon her shoulder. He wasn't exactly a mamma's boy, but he did love her and missed her terribly when she wasn't at home. Kahn sat to her left and took her hand in both of his as he sat hunched forward in the chair. She closed her eyes.

Everyone was huddled together, including the other three children, and they weer closer to the fire than Venis and Kahn and Giskarl. Venis was doing her best to radiate heat to work with the fireplace to warm everyone and help them dry off. Eros was pacing, waiting for Emilia's return. Gwendolan held Manny's hand but watched Eros, sharing in his pain. After all, it was their Granddaughter that had gone missing, and their daughter out searching.

This was the scene that Emilia would come to find once she returned to the Inn. People would still be trying to get warm and staying huddled close. The room would be getting warm slowly. And there would be complete silence as everyone waited. No one wanted to be the first to speak. The smell of food was also starting to fill the air. Which was making some stomachs start to growl. So Emilia's arrival would come just in time.

The Search Empty Re: The Search

Post by Emilia Thu May 20, 2010 2:48 am

Emilia let her mind wander. She had more information than she had before. Why had Iluvenis run off to find her birth mother without her. She would give her princess anything she wanted. Even if it meant hurting herself in the process. She would give her up if it made her happy.

She road up to the Inn and half slid half fell off Rapture. She patted the unicorn on the neck and let her go back to the stable. She knew someone would be there to clean her up. She couldn't see anyone around; but she could feel the other gods without even trying. She felt her father, Venis, and another she thought she recognized as Venis' husband.

She went into the meeting hall .Everyone was there; it was so quiet. It was as if they were all holding their breath and waiting for her. She saw her mother standing with Manny. She went over to them and hugged them both before going to her father and hugging him as well. She knew they were both worried.

She looked at all the others assembled. They were all soaked in in varying stages of dress or undress. She moved to the middle of the room. There was no way she would ever be able to thank them all for what they hat done. They had all put their lives on hold to come help her. She spoke softly.

"I found a few people who have seen Iluvenis. She headed south out of New Haven. There were a couple farms with people that saw her. That last few had not seen her at all. She could still be any where. The only person I found in New Haven that had seen her said she had a birth certificate with her and said she was looking for her mother."

She stopped speaking and went to sit down. She was silent as they ate. She politely refused any food they gave her. She just wasn't really hungry. When they finished she stood and went to the doorway.

"I am going to go let Hopper out before I go back to searching."

She left and headed to her room. As she opened the door she took a deep breath. She had to focus on the task at hand. She went to Iluvenis' room to get Hopper. Where was he? When she didn't see him right away she figured he was sleeping somewhere and began looking. When she went to the bed to look under it she saw the letter.

As she read it she shook her head in disbelief.

"No no."

She read it again. The cry that escaped her lips was one of pain and heartbreak. Everyone in the Inn would hear it. As she cried out she sank to the floor.

Almost at the same time everyone heard her cry out a large bolt of lightning struck the ground and was followed by a clap of thunder that shook the whole Inn. The sky seemed to open up as the rain fell so hard and fast that there would be almost no visibility.

She was ricking back in forth as she hugged her legs to her chest; but somewhere in the back of her mind she knew the damage she was going to do if she kept this up. Not many knew about the wall she already had in place. They kept those she was close to from getting caught up in a wave of strong emotions. It was the walls that she began to strengthen and enlarge. She needed to encompass the pain, worry, and doubt she was feeling. She had to block it to keep from destroying the area around her with her storms.

Post by Venis Jordianthan Sat May 22, 2010 5:35 am

Everyone was eating in silence. It was good news that Emilia had found someone who had helped. But the fact was, they still didn't have their little princess back. It made absolutely no sense for her to have run away. Everyone was so confused by all of this mess.

A lot of people were nodding off while they ate. Including Venis and Kahn's teenagers. When Emilia said she was headed up to let Hopper out, Tasha stood up and stretched. "Going to let Leviathan out too?" Tasha nodded and followed Emilia out of the room.

Venis looked around the room at all the people falling asleep. "Ok, everyone head to bed. You guys have all been up for over twenty-four hours out in the cold and rain. Go ahead and go, I'll let you all know as soon as we have any news." She shewed people out.

She hugged Kahn as tightly as she could. "Honey, will you take the kids home? I'll call you with updates, I promise. I love you with all my heart my love." She kissed him deeply, feeling his arms around her her holding her tightly. It made her ache, but that had to wait.

Kahn headed out of the door with the four teenagers in tow. They were headed home. Ivan took Casie back to her kids. Some of the men headed upstairs to bed. Some of the men tried to urge the fairies to go back to the cottage as well. Ha'Ruil waited for Tasha.

Venis walked over and placed her hand on Eros' shoulder. She looked over at Ha'Ruil. "Go on ahead and head up to bed. You look like you seriously need some sleep." He did as he was asked, reluctantly of course. And that was when everything got worse.

First was the scream, which startled Venis. Then the room lit up from the lightning, followed by the crash of thunder. It had to have been right outside. She hoped that everyone had made it out to he cottages in time. "Eros, go get your daughter." She looked worried.

Venis ran out the door. She wasn't panicked, but she wasn't calm either. She looked around outside to asses the damage that was being done. Now, Venis had an environmental bubble over her Keep, but to construct a second one? So she needed to go another way.

She shot a stream of flames straight up over head. Bringing both hands together above her head. She used the heat from this stream of fire to push the clouds off in other directions. The clouds were thicker than she had thought they were, a lot thicker

Now that she had pushed the clouds away so had a chance to look around some more. She heard a rumbling and turned around just in time to see some mud sliding down the side of the mountain. A whole lot of mud. And it wasn't far enough from the Inn for comfort.

She ran over to where the mud was starting to slide and she sent streams of fire down the embankment. She spread so much fire that she engulfed the entire area in a blanket of flames. And the heat from the flames slowly started to dry the mud so it was dirt again.

Now all that was left to do was to drain some of the water from the gardens so that they didn't float away. She couldn't pull that much water from the ground. Of all the times for Kyra to not be around. She opted for a trench to drain the water away from everything

She walked along making small trenches that would start to come together making bigger trenches. And in the end, she had four trenches, all running off of the mountain in different areas. And the water was draining away keeping the gardens safe from flood.

She headed back into the Inn. That was where she found Tasha coming in from letting Leviathan out. The three of them waited in the lobby for Eros to bring Emilia down so they could find out what had happened. While she waited, she called to check on her kids.

While they listened to Emily, Inion had noticed that Juliet had falling asleep leaning against Croga with Dia sleeping beside her. The fairies didn't sleep like others did, they slept less but Inion could tell that day had taken its toll on the two youngest so when Venis started sending others to bed she told them to head to thiers. She moved over to Juliet and though the girl was just about the same size as Inion, she picked her up as though she was a baby and easily carried her from the room with Fia, Croga and Dia following behind. She held Juliet close not for any other reason then that losing her own adoptive daughter would break her heart and the events of the last 24 hours made her heart weep.

They had just made it outside when the skies opened up. She pulled Juliet closer, used her wings to protect her as they raced to the cottage. Inside she settled her child and her and Fia went back out to help. Fia and Inion always made a prefect pair, cause one was fire and one was water. They came across Venis and offered thier skills in protecting the Inn and the grounds.

Eros was already beginning to fade out when he heard the scream. He knew where it had come from and was on his way before Venis could finish speaking. He completely faded out and broke through the wards around Emilia's room and appeared within a couple feet of her. He found his daughter rocking back in forth curled up on the floor.

He could feel her drawing on power to enforce the walls she kept up. She was suppressing her power in doing this at all. She was a lot stronger than she knew; but in her effort to keep herself from putting off an aura that might make others uncomfortable she held in more than she knew.

He waited till the draw of power stopped and knelt beside her. He shook her gently to get her attention. "Come on Emilia look at me."

She was curled into herself and showed no reaction to her father till he shook her. She looked at him with a blank stare. She was there but not there.

He looked at her blank stare."That's my girl. Come on Venis needs us." He helped her stand up and put an arm around her to support her and then teleported both of them to the lobby.

Emilia nodded slightly as she heard her father. She got to his feet and leaned against him. When they appeared in the lobby she looked around with that same vacant stare. The rain had almost stopped. She looked at Venis but didn't move from her father. In her hand was the note she had found; she held it in a death grip.

Inion and Fia had joined her in the garden, they were a great help. and now they were joining them all inside as well. Venis was thankful for the help. And she leaned her head on Inion's shoulder as they stood there waiting for Eros and Emilia.

When Eros and Emilia showed back up Venis moved to her. One hand went to her shoulder and the other to caress down the side of her face. She wanted to pull her into a hug, but it seemed like she wasn't standing of her own accord.

She saw the look upon her face and stepped back to look more fully at her. That was when she saw the note crumpled in Em's fist. She reached down and took her fist into her hand. "Em, what's this sweety?" She raised her hand sightly.

Then her other hand came down to gently peel back Em's fingers. She took the note and unwrinkled it. Then she read it out loud to the room. The pain that was caused by those note was enough to drop Venis to her knees instantly.

The temperature in the room began to rise, rapidly. How could someone be so cruel? It wasn't in the words so much as it was in the emotions that were between the lines. The words seemed innocent enough, but the undertone.

After a few moments she realized what was going on and she stopped herself. She got up off the floor. She looked at Emilia. "Emilia, which way?" She had to know. They had to find out where she was. Who had Emilia's little Princess.

She looked back at Inion, Fia and Tasha. "This is her real family. We would have never given her up like that woman that spawned her did. We have to find her, we'll spread out in pairs." When Emilia gave them a direction to head to.

Once Emilia Pointed them in the right direction Venis looked at the girls. Then she looked back at Em. "Take Tasha and Levi. You guys head that way. Inion and Fia, You two go that way please. Eros, you're with me love."

Tasha looked down at Leviathan. "Leash laws baby girl." There were some parts of Rhy'Din that had leash laws. Especially for large animals like wolves and wild cats. Which of course Tasha didn't like at all, but she would have to.

Venis opened a portal for Tasha. It was quicker than the stairs or the elevator. Tasha went to her room and told Ha'Ruil that she was going with Emilia and she grabbed up Leviathan's purple collar and leash. She sighed and shook her head.

She stood there for a moment longer.
"I can track her better that way." She pulled out another drawer and retrieved another purple collar and leash. This one had an amethyst hanging from it. "Cursed thing." And she left her room.

She came back through the portal and it closed behind her. "I need to be the best tracker I can be." She put Levi's collar and leash on her and handed it to Emilia. Then she handed her the other set as well. Then she painfully shifted.

Venis opened a portal to the location where Emilia had said she spoke to the lady. Everyone went through. Then Venis looked at Eros with a rather chagrin look. "I need to be a tracker too." She slit a small portal in the air.

Reaching through the portal she fumbled around blindly. When she felt what she needed she retrieved the item. She pulled it back through and handed it to Eros. It was a green collar and leash, with a diamond hanging from it.

She shook her head and closed her eyes. Her form seemed to melt into another. She shook and small amounts of white fur filled the air. She sat down and looked up at Eros. He was getting the rare chance to put her in a collar and leash.

Once they were on she shook again. ~Enjoy it while it lasts, it's your one chance.~ She got up and looked at everyone. ~Let's find Emilia's little Princess.~ And then they were off. One pair going North, one North East and one North West.

Inion nodded to Venis. Before the two of them headed out in thier given direction, Croga was at Inion's side, a small frown was given to him as she reached into the messanger bag that was alway at her side but never seen. "I am sorry love it's just for appearances." A basic leather collar was placed around his neck with a leash attached. Once they were settled and ready it was just a flash and they were off.

Emilia took the leash from Tasha. After she shifted she put the collar and leash on her and then waited. She didn't say anything and there was a blank stare on her face. She was basically on auto pilot. It was still raining but it was not a downpour.

She was headed off in the direction she knew Iluvinis had been going. She knew that Tasha and Levi were talking to each other. She was completely silent. She could not start thinking to much or she would become a danger to everything around her again.

She let Tasha and Levi lead. She asked questions of everyone they came across that might have seen Iluvenis. Sometimes people had seen her sometimes they had not. It was dark every night when they stopped.

When ever they stopped Emilia just sat down and leaned against a tree; she would stare off into space. Levi went out every night and brought back a couple rabbits.

Levi brought back a rabbit and dropped in front of Tasha. She had already eaten hers. She left again and came back a while later with another rabbit. She dropped it in front of Emilia and used her nose to push it closer to her. When Em didn't try to reach for it she picked it up and dropped it into her lap. ~Why will she not eat? She is going to get sick if she doesn't eat.~ She pushed her nose against Emilia's hand.

Tasha was worried about Emilia. She was not eating she never spoke unless she had to and she was a mess. Between the rain and sleeping outside; or at least staying outside night after night she looked like hell. ~Her heart is broken; it will take time for her to become herself.~ When they were done eating both Levi and Tasha wrapped themselves around Emilia giving her as much heat as they could. Even though Em did not sleep they did.

This went on for several days. Levi picked up a strong trail after four days and began going faster. She was almost pulling Emilia along.

Tasha sent Emilia a mental link.~We found a continuous trail. Iluvinis was here no more than three days ago.~ She came to a dead stop when they came into the clearing.

It was the first real lead they had had since they started. It gave Emilia hope.

"Why did you stop?"

In front of them was a lake. A ways off she could see a rooftop and some windows from a large mansion . It was peaceful here and very beautiful.

Tasha stopped and looked up. She knew where they were then. She closed her eyes and lowered her head. ~I'm sorry Emilia, I ... I can't take you any farther.~ Leviathan licked her face because there were tears welling up in her eyes.

Emilia dropped the leashes and began to walk off towards the house in the distance.

"You may not be able to but I can; nothing is stopping me from going."

It was the first real lead they had.

Tasha roared in pain as she shifted back to her human form. She still wore her collar and leash, though they were loose around her neck. Standing there nude for the world to see she grabbed Emilia's arm. "Em, please, don't. Trust me, not there. Let Venis deal with it, please, I beg of you." There was a very legitimate reason for them to not go up to the castle on the hill. Tasha would share it with her, but not there, not at that moment.

Emilia started to shake off Tasha's arm until she heard her speak. She was sure that Tasha was not one to beg. It seemed like they were so close to Iluvenis but so far. She looked at the house in the distance and then back at Tasha and nodded.

"I promise you I will not approach the house. I am going to sit on this rock for a while before I go back to the Inn."

She moved to the rock and sat down on it staring out over the lake.

Tasha released her when she moved to the rock. "I'll take you at your word. But trust me, she is safe there. I can promise you that." She reached up and took her collar off. "Can I ask you for a small favor? I can't exactly go back to the Inn in the nude, and Levi and I can't both be panthers dragging our leashes. Could you, I don't know, poof me something to wear or something?" They had to get back, but they couldn't go back like they were.

Emilia looked at Tasha the blank stare was back Em had shut down again. She did at least nod. At least Iluvenis was safe. She really wanted to go get her daughter but he had given her word. She closed her eyes and the air around her and Tasha shimmered and they were both wearing black robes.

She pulled her knees into her chest and stared back out over the lake. She didn't even notice when Tasha and Levi left her there alone.

Tasha noticed that Emilia seemed to be out of it again. But she walked over and hugged her shoulders and kissed the top of her head anyway. Then she picked up Leviathan's leash. She lowered her head for a moment, then whispered. "Thank you for the robes, and your word." Then they were off. Along the way, she sent a broadcast mental link to Venis, Eros, Inion, and Fia. ~Guys, we've found her, but there's a problem. Meet me back at the Inn.~ And she ran as fast as two legs could carry her.

Emilia sat there in a near catatonic state. She just kept staring at the water and the big house. She knew her daughter was there but she couldn't go to her. She was not sure at all what was going on but it was clear something about the house really upset Tasha.

Em sat there not noticing how much time had passed. Three days had passed without her knowing. She felt something pulling her back to the Inn. She looked at the house and then back towards the forest. She stood and opened a portal to the Inn. She walked through it appeared in the kitchen of the Inn. She left it before anyone could stop her and headed upstairs.

She looked like hell. She had lost about ten pounds and smelled like a wet dog.

Venis and Eros headed off. The direction they were taking would take them to the outer reaches of the continent. They moved with a quickness that would be unmatched by mortal beings. Venis sniffed the ground and the air both as they traveled. Eros was searching by way of feeling more than scent.

When they came to the ocean, Venis shook her head. ~I don't think she would have flown across the ocean.~ So they continued along the coast. They had been asking people along the way, if they had seen her. They were getting no leads. But they kept searching. Someone had to have seen her.

After a few days of searching, Venis saw an Island. ~It's worth a try. It's not too far out for her to fly to I think.~ So Eros opened a portal to the Island and they headed out. It took them a whole day to search the entire island, but no one had seen the young fairy. Venis was downhearted to say the least.

They were just getting ready to leave the island when Tasha's mental link reached them. Venis looked up at Eros and he opened a portal. This portal took them back to the Inn directly. When they stepped out of the portal at the Inn she shifted back into her human form, then removed the collar and leash.

When Tasha got back to the Inn she informed those who were waiting about the castle and how Emilia had stayed behind. She told them how she had made Emilia promise to not go up to the castle. And how Em said she would be back later, she just needed time to clear her head and such.

So with was with hung heads that the group reluctantly separated and headed to their rooms, and their beds. Venis actually felt tired. But she thought that was more from the stress than the staying awake for several days. So when she and Eros got up to her room, she went to bed and slept.

Tasha joined Ha'Ruil and went to bed as well. She filled him in and snuggled up to him to go to sleep. They were all a little sadder when they went to bed that night. When Iluvenis ran away, she took a part of each of them with her. And it was something that none of them would get over soon.

Inion, Fia and Croga moved quickly stopping to only when they came across people. Inion would produce a hologram of the little princess to show people. No one they asked had seen the little fairy which filled the trio with despire. There was that feeling they were going the wrong way, but a bit of hope drove them on. The hours turned to days but just how many they had lost track.

They had stopped for a few moments to eat when Inion heard the voice in her head. It was Tasha letting them know they had found her but there was a problem. She passed on the information and all of them felt relief and saddness at the same time. they were days away from the inn and the events had drained them deeply. They mustard all they had and decided to travel back they only way that they knew would get them home the quickest.

Croga shifted shapes so that Inion could easliy carry him and they took flight. Of course they wouldn't fly all the way home, instead they were going to travel through the rings. The whole trip took them about another three hours. Quietly they touched down and stumbled through the door of the cottage. Croga shifted back just as the others came rushing up to them. It was clear just how tired and dirty and most likely hungry the trio was, so they ushered them to the baths that were warm and waiting, feed them and made sure they went straight to bed for rest.

Inioin was laying on her bed with Croga at her feet when she felt Fia enter. Thier bond was strong so without a owrd Fia slipped into the bed with her. Wih foreheads pressed together, fingers intertwined they fell asleep safe in each others company.

Post by JonLouis Thu Jul 01, 2010 7:49 am

Back on Earth, somewhere lost within the depths of the Louisiana swamp land, a vampire sat alone in a room. The long rectangular table before him having been abandoned by his alliés. Eight of the ten chairs at the table had been occupied only moments before. The two that always seemed to remain unoccupied were the seat at the other end of the table, and the seat directly to the left of it. The seat at the end of the table was reserved for the first. It was his place to sit at the head of the table. To his left was a seat reserved for the Primogen de Toreador.

The man sitting at the table alone was the Primogen de Ventrue. The others who usually joined him at the table were Waldemar, immediately to his left. Waldemar was the Primogen de Malkavian. To Waldemar's left sat Pepper, Primogen de Nosferatu. To her left sat Vanessa, the oldest of the Toreador, yet not their Primogen. Her seat was granted her because of her age and wisdom, and the fact that the Primogen was usually absent. And to her left sat Ciaran, Primogen de Gangrel. To the Primogen de Ventrue's right sat Ambrogio, Primogen de Brujah. To his right sat Serdar, Primogen de Tremere. And to his right sat Chimalli, Primogen to all who aren't of a previously mentioned clan. The second oldest vampire on The Vampire Council.

That was the seating arrangement for the dinner table, it was different when they were seated at the arched table in the main hall where the Council met for business. Which returns us to the lone man left sitting at the table. The Primogen de Ventrue, head of The Vampire Council when the first was not present, JonLouis. The evening meal had been finished, and the others had excused themselves to go about their evenings. But JonLouis sat alone at the table with his head resting in his hand. Vampires didn't usually complain of headaches, but this night, JonLouis had one of a serious nature.

It took a few moments before he realized the source of his pain and anguish. The issue was with a very important person in his life. A woman who was far, far away. Yet, they shared a certain connection, a bond as it were. And this very important woman was in pain herself. And through their shared bond, came shared pain.

He knew not the exact nature of her pain, and it mattered not what it was. But he knew that he had to get to her, immediately. With that thought, he lifted his head and rose from the table. He headed directly to his appartments. Once inside, he woke his man servant. He informed him that he needed to prepare for a trip. He left his appartments to inform the rest of the Council that he would be taking his leave. He did not know how long he would be gone, and given that there was nothing of importance before the Council at the time, there was no need to leave orders of how to handle things in his absence.

Returning to his appartments, he went directly into his bedchamber. He pulled a carpet bag out of his closet and set it upon his bed. He changed out of his casual attire of leather pants and a fishnet shirt with black motorcycle boots. Instead he dressed in a pair of dress pants, a button down blouse, complete with frilly fringe, and he grabbed up his long jacket. A pair of black leather dress shoes completed his ensemble.

Walking over to a cherry wood cabinet by his bed side, he opened it and retrieved a cane. This cane was special, it had been a gift from her. And it was supposed to open a portal to her exact location at any given point in time. He followed her instructions and waited ... Waited ... And nothing happened. So he tried a second time. The end result was the same. Something was preventing the cane from working. This obviously frustrated the Frenchman deeply.

Realizing that he was going to have to take the long way to her, he returned to packing his carpetbag. He fit in seven changes of clothing, most similar to what he was wearing. In addition he fit in his silk bathrobe, his ceremonial robes, and his boots. From there he went to his armoire and pulled out a garment bag. Where he was going it was always possible to find himself in need of a tuxedo. He retrieved a different cane from the cabinet, replacing the special one. He never used the special one for casual use. It was too valuable.

He left his bedchamber to find his man servant sitting in the salon waiting on him. He too carried a carpet bag and a garment bag.He was dressed in the formal attire of a butler. Gray suit, with a two toned gray vest and a gray ascot over a white dress shirt. His jacket had tails and he wore white gloves. He was most definitely ready for travel. So the two men left the pyramid and headed to the first of a series of portals.

It was some time before the two men found the Starry Myst Inn. It wasn't his bond with her that he used to find his destination. It was another bond. A bond shared by all the Primogens on The Vampire Council. He arrived on Rhy'Din, and when he still could not locate the woman he desired, he located the Primogen de Toreador. Through their bond, he knew that the one he was looking for could be found within the same Inn. Well, at least that was where she was staying currently. After all, it was an Inn, it wasn't the permanent home of any of whom he knew to be there.

When he arrived at the Inn he entered through the front door. He chose to continue past the front desk and go straight away to the stairs, which were not difficult to locate. The two men ascended the stairs rather quickly. And once they reached the fifth floor, JonLouis scanned the area. He was not a sensitive, he couldn't search for signs of life through mental capabilities. But what he could do was pick up on familiar scents and listen for heartbeats. Room five oh one was occupied by the Primogen, he could hear her heartbeat within the room as she liked to make her heart beat. The room also smelt of strawberries and raspberries. Her soaps of choice. Room five oh three and five oh four lacked familiar scents or heartbeats within. Which left him with room five oh two. It smelt of her, though it lacked a heartbeat at the moment. She wasn't within her room, so they would wait.

When Emilia reached the top of the stairs on the fifth floor, she would find a butler sitting upon the floor, his knees brought up to his chest and his arms wrapped around his legs. His head would be resting upon his knees as he slept. To his side would be two garment bags laid over two carpet bags. And on the other side of those bags would be a man who was standing against the wall. Both hands would be resting upon the head of the cane before him. His head would be hung down to his chest as he stood there sleeping.

Her heartbeat and her scent would stir the vampire awake and he would raise his head to look upon the woman he desired. One word would be whispered from his pale lips. "Belle." He would move to set his cane against the wall. His speaking and movement would stir the man servant asleep upon the floor. As the man servant began to move and rise from the floor, JonLouis would take steps towards Emilia.

With hearing his voice she would look towards him and a weakened smile would tease at the corners of her mouth. "You're here!" Exhaustion evident in her voice, yet she managed some semblance of excitement. "Won't you please come in." Necessary words as she had never invited him into this suite before. But they would be the last words spoken before she began to collapse to the floor.

Of course, she would never make it to the floor. With an unnatural quickness, JonLouis moved to scoop her up in his arms. As he held her seemingly lifeless form cradled in his arms he looked over her black robes. Seeing no place for a key to be easily located he looked to his man servant. "Retrieve the Goddess please." And he moved back towards the door of room five oh two.

The servant moved to the door of room five oh one, where he knocked three times upon the door. Now, there was a code for knocks, and three knocks meant that it was something important that required immediate attention. Everyone upon The Vampire Council, the Goddess' entourage, and all friends, families, servants, and employees there in knew the knock codes.

Venis would come to the door quickly. Upon opening it she would first see the man servant standing there. "Gervais, what is it." She had not expected to answer the door and find JonLouis' man servant there. She had been too exhausted to notice when JonLouis used their shared bond to locate her. And she had been rather preoccupied since returning to the Inn after the search. After all, she did have duties to perform.

Gervais stepped to the side without saying a word. That made JonLouis visible. He stood by the door with the unconscious Demi-Goddess in his arms. He looked from Venis to the door without speaking a word. Meanwhile, his man servant returned to the bags and gathered them up in his arms.

Venis left her room and crossed the hall. She stuck a long fingernail into the small hole for the key. She twisted the pinky finger back and forth a few times and a click was heard. She removed her nail from the hole and turned the nob, pushing the door open as she did. Then she brushed some hair from Emilia's face and leaned in to place a kiss upon JonLouis' cheek.

JonLouis smiled as he kissed her cheek in return. "Merci beaucoup Princesse." And he turned to step sideways through the door. His man servant to follow right behind him. They moved so that they were careful of Emilia. Not wanting to knock her head or feet against the door jam. The man servant would close the door behind them, and the lock would be turned.

Immediately following JonLouis' thank you, Venis would voice her reply. "Tu es le bienvenu JonLouis." And she would return to her suite across the hall. Her door closing and locking as well. She had been too busy dealing with things of a rather high importance to keep her door open over the last few days.

Once JonLouis had Emilia safely within her room he set out to get her cleaned up and put into her bed. The first step in doing this was to get her bathed. She was covered in mud and smelt of a wet dog. And that smell, that was taking over his nose, reminded him that there should be a child and a wolf cub within the suite. He let their absence pass for the moment, figuring that if she had been out, perhaps they were in the care of another. He had no idea how correct that presumption was.

He took her into the bathroom of her private bedchamber. He told his man servant to draw her a warm bath. A task to which he immediately took to doing, as soon as his hands were emptied of the bags. He moved to fill the tub with warm water and bubbles while JonLouis sat upon the toilet. JonLouis slowly, and gently, removed the black robes from Emilia's still unconscious body. He had her sitting in his lap as he did so. Once the bath was full, Gervais left the bathroom, taking with him the soiled black robes.

JonLouis removed his shoes as he again cradled Emilia in his arms. He carried nothing in his pockets and wore no belt. So not wanting her to drown, he stepped into the tub and lowered them both into the warm water. He picked up a sponge from the rack that was within the tub. He now had Emilia sitting with her back to him, leaning against him, between his legs in the water. He dipped the sponge into the water and began to run it over her body. That was when he noticed the gold chain. Following the chain as it ran down her chest from around her neck, he found something very familiar. Just as she had given him a cane with which to find her, he had given her a key with which to find him. This was what she wore upon the chain around her neck. He couldn't help but smile.

As he washed her body off, she began to stir. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered quieting noises in her ear. Then he continued to wash her body off. Then he moved his leg and turned her so she could lean against it. He lifted her head and moved her hair so that it would hang over his knee. There was a cup upon the rack, a sign that a child's hair had been washed within this bathroom. He used the cup to pour water over her dirty, matted hair. He thought to himself that the storm that she seemed to have gotten caught in had to have been a severe one. He had no way of knowing that the storm had been of her own design.

He applied shampoo to her wet hair and put his free leg over her lap. This was the best way he could think to hold her in place. Then with both hands, he massaged the shampoo into her hair, making sure to rub her entire scalp and wash all the way to the tips of her hair. He used the cup again to rinse her hair of the shampoo. He was aware that this left the bubble bath still in her hair. But he was far from done. He applied more shampoo and gave her beau ebony locks another good scrubbing, there was far less dirt in the lather this time.

He scooted them both to the end of the tub where he knocked the hand held shower head out of it's resting place and caught it before it could crash down upon them. He turned on the water and set the temperature, then he turned on the shower head. He rinsed her hair until no more soap came out of it. He laid the shower head into the tub, under the water, and retrieved her conditioner. He conditioned her hair and left it in. Then he retrieved her body scrubber and her body wash. He moved to carefully lift them both out of the water of the tub. He sat upon the side of the tub and placed her in his lap.

He flipped the switch in the tub to allow it to drain while he used her body wash upon her body scrubber to wash her body. He had her leaning against him as he washed her, but he did move her to wash area's that were in contact with him. As he did this, her eyes were blinking open for brief moments at a time. It was almost like she wanted to wake up, but was simply too exhausted to do so. Once he had her entire body covered in lather he stood up. He held her against him with one hand and retrieved the shower head with the other.

He rinsed her off and rinsed the conditioner out of her hair. When her turned her to face him so he could rinse the back of her and her hair, she managed to throw her arms over his shoulders. He sat back down and placed her back in his lap. He rang out her hair and then picked up her jar of leave in conditioner and applied it to her hair. He made sure that he had it completely through her hair. Then he turned the water off with his feet, leaving the shower head to lay in the tub. A twist of his body would bring him to find a towel. He took the towel and wrapped it around her, moving her as needed to do so.

He then rose to his feet again, scooping her up into his arms again. He stepped out of the tub and immediately noticed that he had caused a puddle outside of the tub. A small sigh was given in regards to the mess. She moved in his arms to throw her arms around his neck loosely again. He knew that she was fighting against her exhaustion to try and be awake for him. But he wanted her to sleep. He carried her into her bedchamber, dripping wet, and laid her in her bed. He quickly moved back to the bathroom, where he removed his wet clothing and wrapped himself in a towel as well.

Then he returned to her bed. He carefully removed the towel from her body and dried her off. The wetness that was upon the sheets would dry itself as her body heat dried her and then the bed. He then toweled himself off completely. He had no body heat with which to dry the bed if he got it wet. He put the two towels in the bathroom and then opened the door to speak to his man servant, who was in the salon. He gave him instructions to quietly clean up the bathroom and then to get the wet and dirty clothes to the laundry.

He then climbed into bed next to her and laid down to sleep. She needed warmth, which he could not offer her. So he made sure to keep some distance between them. He vowed to remain in that suite, caring for her, until she was better and able to resume her life as usual.
