What is Rhy'Din

Rhy'Din is the name of a country and the name of a continent on a whole new planet other than Earth. It is a unique place and exist in a Nexus. This means that all kinds of creatures and beings could end up here. It could be someone from the twentieth century on Earth, who was driving along and went through a portal. Someone could be running from a danger and slip through a portal. It doesn't matter the time period or the area from whence they came, they could all end up in Rhy'Din. Different times, plains of existence, planets, they can all converge right here.

Because of this Nexus Rhy'Din is, essentially, a huge melting pot. You will find that some areas are more advanced than others, technologically and/or culturally. For example, some places may have electricity, while other places, you cannot even use a gun. And just like any other place where you find migration, races, cultures, animals and plant life, begin to grow and populate. Over the hundreds of years that Rhy'Din has been in existence, some things have become native. The lands have been explored and there is "some" rhyme and reason, being that the are established lands and countries. To those who have been in Rhy'Din their whole lives, or who have been here for a while, it is not uncommon to find a Draconian walking down the street, dwarves chugging down ale, or to realize that the things that 'go bump in the night' are real.

Not everyone in Rhy'Din gets along - Not even this planet has world peace. Different races and cultures make for a vast myriad of belief systems and political views. It's possible that some may believe one thing, while others believe differently. But everyone is free to believe what they wish and live in a way they see fit. Everyday life in Rhy'Din can be not-so-ordinary.

If you can imagine it, in Rhy'Din, it's possibly possible.
