While Ailylaeli ran for help, Cad was fighting to stay alive. He had reasons to live. And so he was fighting harder than he had ever fought for anything in his life, after all, it was his life.

But it was getting dark, and there were more beasts that had arrived on the scene. Which had Cad on the verge of pissing down his legs. As well as some other unattractive bodily functions. Luckily, he was able to still hold his bladder and bowels, quite literally at the moment.

But the blood that was pouring from his body was starting to have an effect on him. He was doing good to keep the wound closed and he was applying all the pressure that he could to it. But he still had to back up against the tree behind him for support.

He used the stick, in between swipes and the beasts, to draw a circle in the dirt around him. Then he added a second circle on the outside of the first. That made a band around him that was about four inches wide. And he was safely within the circle, or the band as it was.

One might think him not safe, as it was just a line in the dirt. But it was what he did with it that made him safer. He slid down the tree trunk and sat upon the ground. He had his knees folded up against his chest. This helped him hold the wound closed. And he pulled a lighter from the front pocket of his jeans. He used it to set the leaves, and other such things upon the ground, on fire. The fire followed the path of the band he had drawn. It didn't cross the dirt, there was no foliage for fuel.

He remained within the circle of fire, and he fed the fire with foliage from the ground around him. He hoped and prayed that this would last long enough for Ail to get back with help. But if it didn't, he would rather bleed to death and burn to ash than to be eaten by these beasts.

He left the room and Ail relaxed.

When the elf had left the room, Ailylaeli had relaxed a bit. She slid back d0wn the wall to sit upon the floor. Her circlet stopped glowing and she put it 0n her head again. She hadn't noticed that he was an elf before. She had seen him at the wedding and at the St. Patrick's Day party. But neither of those times had she been wearing the circlet.

Moments later, the red haired woman came into the room. She was full of questions too, but all Ail could think was that they were waisting valuable time Cad could die before they got to him. She watched the woman, and she was fast. She put her hand to her throat and was then being handed a bottle of water. She opened it and drank.

Well, that was extremely helpful.

With her throat moist again, she was better able to answer the woman full of questions. "Yes, Ail. Um, I ran, from the North, in the woods. A clearing. He was cut, deeply I think. Across his stomach." Did that help any? Oh, and there was one more question on the table. But Ailylaeli was a little hesitant to answer her other question.

She took another big drink of the water. It tasted so good at the moment. She took a couple of deep breaths. She wanted to figure out the best way to say it, but she had very little experience in these type of situations. None to be exact. "It was a monster ... Like ... You ..." Should she have said that? How else could she describe it to her?

Please don't let the Healer be mad.

Post by Jasper Izzoli Wed Jul 21, 2010 7:00 am

Jasper had been finding the whole stick thing a little amusing. And he let the man draw his little circles. After all, it was just a matter of time before he was going to bleed out, let him fight against the inevitable.

The others were joining them sporadicly. First it was Gene and Ace. Followed by Cyrus and Jannie. Quintessa and Paul arrived within moments of each other from different directions. Quintessa hadn't returned with the girl, so she must have gotten away. Peter was the last on the scene. The others were all still back at the cave.

With eight lycans around him, this man didn't stand much of a chance at survival. But then he lit the fire. This caused them all to back up a little. After all, they had no desire to catch their fur on fire. So he had managed to buy himself some more time after all.

Peter headed up into a tree near the one that the man had leaned against. He jumped to the tree that the man was leaning against. And began to work on a way to get down to the man without the fire getting him. After all, it was a small space within the fire, not quite big enough for two. They might just have to wait for the fire to die out. But by then, their dinner should be dead as well.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Empty Re: A Dangerous Search

Post by Tasha Masterson Wed Jul 21, 2010 7:31 am

Tasha was listening. She wanted to make sure that she got all the details. "Baby, can you go let Willow out for me? I have a feeling we'll need her." She knew that Willow would be the fastest way to get to Cad.

Then she heard the rest and started to check her bag to make sure she had everything in her bag. Across the gut, check, pastes and pain killers and stitches just in case. Jars were checked and boxes placed inside.

Then Ail took another drink of her water and answered the last question. Tasha froze. Not sure if it was the answer, or the way it was phrased. "Like ... Me?" She took a deep, calming breath of her own.

It took her a second to snap out of it. She understood that Ail meant a lycan, she meant a lycan, right? She told Ha'Ruil. "Honey, meet us outside of Seleen and Shuda's cottage." She needed one more little thing.

She would have to speak with Ail later about monsters and beasts. But right now there was no time. She grabbed up her bag and her cooler in one hand. With the other she grabbed Venis' keys from the table.

She put the keys in her mouth as she moved to grab Ail by the arm. She pulled her along, out the door. If it closed, then it closed, if not, too bad. She was in a rush. And Ha'Ruil should already be on his way out.

Unless Ail was strong enough to pull away, she would be dragged along behind Tasha. Then they ran down the stairs and out into the gardens. They headed for the cottage, and used Venis' keys to get inside.

Once inside, she started to look around a little. Then she found it. Seleen's gun safe. Tasha fumbled with the keys and found the one for the safe. When it was open she pulled out two boxes. One held two guns.

The box was opened and the guns examined to make sure they weren't loaded. That was too dangerous. They were put back and the second box was opened. Inside was special ammunition. Filled with silver.

Tasha couldn't touch the amo, and she knew that. Someone else would have to load the guns. But the silver within them stayed liquid and therefor seeped into the blood stream faster, taking down any lycan.

She locked up and left the cottage. She slipped the keys into the pocket of her sweat pants. Ha'Ruil and Willow should be there by now. She whistled and slapped her thigh twice. Levi came right to her side.

She could hear Kjay off in the distance, at Casie's cottage. But this time of night, Casie wouldn't let him out. She would be putting the kids to bed. Which was a good thing. Tasha didn't want Cas in danger.

But still, Kjay freaking out, howling and barking like that, told Tasha that there was something quite wicked out there. So she was definitely prepared for the worst. Even that they could be too late for Cad.

So as soon as Ha'Ruil and Willow arrived, Tasha would put Ail on Willow's back, then she would join her. Leviathan would also climb up. Ha'Ruil could either shift and follow, or ride as well. It was up to him.

He had changed into something comfortable as he kept his ears out to what was said outside the door. After he got dressed he walked out of the room and looked at his girlfriend.

"Levi is outside right now love making sure everything is alright."

He was walking over to them when he heard what the lady say that the thing was like Tasha, he knew what that meant. His facial features got hard as he looked at Tasha.

When he saw Tasha pick up the woman he was already heading to the window and started to shift into a falcon, He jumped out of the window and spread his wings as he took flight his eyes focused on the things around the Inn. Taking a quick look around and not seeing anything of note he shifted his wings and tail feathers and started to slowly descend down to the stable that housed the pink dragon. He shifted back to elf form and released her and motioned her to follow him to the cottage of Seleen and Shuda. After he got to the Cottage he just waited to see what Tasha was going to do. he waited a minute as he saw her, the elf and Levi get onto the pink dragon and to let them keep the room that they had on it, he shifted to a cheetah and started to run through the forest following the rest of them.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Dragon_pink

When Ha'Ruil came and let Willow out she got very overexcited. She loved play time. But Ha'Ruil didn't look like he was there to play. So rather than bouncing around and bounding out the door she tilted her head for a moment. She figured she was supposed to go with him somewhere.

So when he moved towards the gardens, Willow followed. The ground shook slightly when she walked. She could hear Kjay barking in Miss Casie's cottage when they walked by. She let a puff of smoke out of her nostrils at the sound. It made a loud enough noise for Kjay to hear.

She hoped that the noise would settle him down. She continued going with Ha'Ruil until they stood out in front of Seleen and Shuda's cottage. She tilted her head again, wondering what they were doing here. But she found out as Tasha came out of the cottage with a little elf girl.

Willow didn't even wait for instructions, she simply laid down for them to climb on. She was very happy when she saw Leviathan come running and jump up to ride too. But Ha'Ruil didn't climb on. He changed into a spotted cat, but a different looking one than ones that looked like Leviathan.

Willow started trying to figure out what kind of cat Ha'Ruil had been turned into when she was urged to take flight. So she did. And she would head in whatever direction the women on her back would tell her to go. After all, they knew where she was supposed to go, she had no idea.

With Willow in the air, Ailylaeli and Leviathan on Willow with her, and Ha'Ruil dashing through the woodlands below, Tasha was ready to get down to business. "Which direction Ailylaeli? You have to tell her where to go." After all, Ail had been the one with Cad, not her.

She looked down and saw that Ha'Ruil was keeping up well enough, which was a relief to her. She gave Ailylaeli a slight pat to the shoulder to reassure her. She knew they would make it in time. And she opened her bag to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Empty Re: A Dangerous Search

Post by Ailylaeli Mon Aug 02, 2010 12:06 am

Everything was happening so fast.

Ailylaeli felt a little bad about the way she phrased the answer to the Healer's question. But she just couldn't find other words to use. The look that he Healer got on her face though ... Yea, Ail felt guilty. She had hurt the Healer's feelings and she knew it. It made her want to cry even more.

But at least the Healer knew what she had meant. Or at least Ail thought she did. She had started to grab up things, like a cooler of ice. Were they going on a picnic or trying to save a life? But then again, Ail wasn't the Healer. So she had to trust in that the Healer knew what she was doing.

But what was the cooler of ice for?

The next thing Ail knew, she was begin grabbed by the wrist and pulled up off the floor. They rushed out the door. Ail didn't even get a chance to see where the elf guy had gone. They ran down the stairs and out to the gardens. She heard a dog, or maybe a wolf, making a lot of noise.

They continued past the noise and out to another cottage. They went inside once the Healer found the right key. Then Ail stood by the door and waited. When the Healer had what she was looking for, they left. And when they got back out, there stood a giant pink ... DRAGON!!!

Goodness gracious, a real life dragon.

Ail froze in place and started to shake. Where did the dragon come from? Why was there a giant pink dragon in front of them? Dragons could be pink? So many questions, and she was too frozen to ask any of them. Paralyzed by fear was more like it. She couldn't even blink, or breathe.

But the Healer grabbed her up and put her up on the dragon. Shaking, she was down right quaking. Because not only was there a giant pink dragon, they were not getting onto it. And she hadn't even moved to get on of her own free will. But if the Healer hadn't put her up, she wouldn't be.

Never ever even seen a dragon before.

The Healer and her panther, wait, when did her panther come back? The Healer and her panther climbed up on the dragon behind where Ailylaeli sat. There was room enough for more. And then the dragon took flight. No longer was Ail frozen. She grabbed hold of whatever she could find.

Holding onto the dragon's hairs(?) she tried to quit shaking. Then the Healer told her that she had to tell the dragon where to go. She had been on foot, she had no idea what the area looked like from the air. So which way had she ran before. She left the cottage in the woods and went ...

She looked at her hand and saw the note.

South West, she had ran South West to get to the Inn. And if she ran South West to get to the Inn that meant. "North East, we were North East of the Inn. Go North East please pink dragon." Now they were on the right path. At least Ail hoped they were. And then she saw some smoke.

Now the smoke that was rising was light colored and thin. But Ail had still seen a hint of it just the same. She pointed in the direction of the smoke. "I saw smoke over there. Did you see it?" She hoped someone else could see it too. If they didn't they were sure to get lost out here in the dark.

Let's hope the smoke wasn't them cooking Cad.

It was a good thing that Ail had seen the smoke. Because the fire was not holding up too well. And neither was Cad. He was loosing so much blood so fast that he hardly had the energy to keep his little circle of fire going.

In fact, he was getting so weak, that as he went to throw brush and things on the fire, he was getting some dirt on it as well. Which was very bad, because the dirt was putting the fire out in spots. When Cad noticed a spot starting to flicker out, he would reach for more leaves and things to throw on it, But he was running out of things in the small area where he could reach with the one hand.

So, in the spirit of burning to death rather than being eaten, he started to toss things closer to him, near the fire. He was hoping he could get the fire to close in on him. And as he worked on getting the fire to come burn him alive, a tear fell from his eyes. He was thinking about Ail and how he would never see her again. And he was hoping that she wouldn't make it back to see him burned alive.

Let the human have his little fire. The Lycan's had been waiting this long, a little longer wouldn't kill them. Well, as long as it was only a little while longer. After all, there were three others back at the cave that needed to eat too.

Jasper wanted to laugh when he saw that the man was trying to direct the flames closer to himself. To Jasper, that just meant that they didn't have to cook their own food. Not that they always cooked it. But some of them preferred their food cooked.

At this point, all the lycans were there, save for the three that were still in the cave. So the man who was sitting in a heap at the foot of the tree bleeding to death and trying to cook himself for them to eat, had an eye full of fur and fangs before him. How good was his bladder control anyway?

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Dragon_pink

Willow was good at following directions.  So when the little elf girl told her to go North East, that was the way she went.  After all, she was a dragon, she knew directions, right?  Of course she did.  When she was being serious and not goofing off like that cartoon dinosaur.  And right now she was all business.

She didn't see the smoke, but she could smell the fire.  And it was a brush fire, a small one.  So she headed towards it.  If it wasn't where they were supposed to go, they could at least figure things out from there.  So carefully, Willow turned towards the scent of the fire, which was North East of the Inn in fact.

Tasha looked in the direction where Ail had said she had seen the smoke. She thought maybe there was a hint of something there. But if there was a fire, it was a very small one and the smoke wasn't rising too high. She sniffed the air, but they were riding a fire breathing dragon, so that was no good for sniffing out a fire.

Tasha had to just trust that Ail and Willow combined could get them to Cad before it was too late. She had everything she needed in her bag. So they were good there. She was as ready as she could be for whatever they might find. At least she hoped she was. She wasn't sure she was ready to land and find Cad being eaten alive.

She was taking quite a gamble with trusting others to find Cad. But what other choice did she have. But she did have one other resource. ~Ha'Ruil, love, I need you to be my eyes on the ground. We are headed towards a small puff of smoke. Can you watch for a fire and let me know if you find it?~ If there was fire, he'd find it.

He had been keeping up with the pink dragon pretty easily and with the elf brain in control of the body of the cheetah he was doing things that normally a cheetah would not be doing, just like banking off of a tree when there was a turn that needed to be made. After a short while Tasha talked to him and while he was still keeping up. ~I will love, and what would you like me to do when we get there?~ He waited for a response but something crept up his nose. ~Love I am smell a fire and a few things that I cant make out.~ With that he ramped up his pace going as fast as the cheetah body would let him.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Empty Re: A Dangerous Search

Post by Tasha Masterson Mon Aug 02, 2010 1:51 am

She saw a hint of light off in the distance as they got closer to a small clearing. The answer to Ha'Ruil's question was simple. ~Protect Cad.~ They would be touching down within minutes of Ha'Ruil getting there. So basically what she would need for him to do was to make sure that they couldn't get to Cad.

And just moments after she told Ha'Ruil to protect Cad, they passed over the clearing. They had been flying about six to seven feet above the tree line, so it was easy for Tasha to see down into the clearing when they passed over it. ~There they are ... Holy shit!~ She saw what was in the clearing with Cad too.

Tasha took a deep cleansing breath after seeing the numerous lycans in the clearing. "Willow, pass over the clearing again, and when you see a place to land in the clearing, use it. I'm jumping first though. Cad needs help now." She was ready to jump. And on the next pass, bags in hand, Tasha jumped.

Leviathan stayed on Willow's back with Ailylaeli. And Willow took two more passes, in different directions, in order to find a safe place to land. But while she was doing that, Tasha hit the ground lowering herself to her knees. She set her bag and the cooler down and moved to hiss at the lycan's threateningly.

Then she moved to put out some of the fire so she could get closer to Cad. She knelt down beside him and checked his eyes. He was on his way out. She opened up the cooler and grabbed a bottle of water out. "Cad, stay with me." She poured some water over his lips and it ran in his mouth and down his face.

She moved his arm that was now laying across his stomach rather than applying pressure to it. Seeing the wound she turned to face the lycans. "Who did this? What did you cut him with?" She looked back to Cad. It was a very serious wound. She couldn't remember the last time she had fixed such a wound.

She didn't take the time to look up when Ha'Ruil came into the clearing, she couldn't tell you when that was in comparison to when she got there. Nor did she look up when Willow landed either. There was too much to do. She just trusted that everyone knew what to do and how to keep them safe.

She handed the box with the pistols in it to Cad, and then the box of amo as well. "Cad, come on, wake up, fight. I need you to load these and give me one. Point the other at them. If they get past Ha'Ruil, Levi and Willow, shoot them. But for the love of the God's do not shoot me." It was up to him.

She pulled out a small wooden dowel and put it in his mouth. That way he could bite rather than scream. Because this was sure to hurt. She took out some scissors and cut his shirt off of him. She started to clean the wound with alcohol first. She knew that it would burn, but she had to clean it to fix it.

He finally got to the clearing and saw the beings there and with a growl and charged through them until he finally got to the area of the fire and started to shift back to his elf form. He stood with with his eyes changing from all the different predators on land that were in his blood, there might have also been a point where his smell would change just as fast to let the lycans know that if there to to try anything that would have a really big fight on their hands. From the pink dragon that was next to him, or the show of red scales showing up on his skin to the green ones that appeared at times. At that moment in time he was ready to shift into what was needed to keep his girlfriend and her friends alive.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Empty Re: A Dangerous Search

Post by Jasper Izzoli Mon Aug 02, 2010 2:50 am

When the woman fell from the sky into the clearing, Jasper's first thought was that more food was dropping in. But when she hissed at them and advanced on them to force them back, he thought twice about that. None of them were physically ready to take on a healthy lycanthrope. So they backed up. She asked about the cut to the guys abdomen. Jasper spoke up. "I did." There was a definite growl to his voice. "With this." He held up his clawed hand and showed her the back of it, which also showed her the long steel blade that ran along the back of his hand. Where the blade was strapped, it would have ran along his middle finger if he opened his hand flat.

When the elf came into the clearing at almost the same time, things seemed to be getting a little crowded in there. But they still weren't too worried. But then the giant pink dragon landed. And she had the little elf girl that had been there before, and she also had a panther with her. Now things were getting very crowded in the small clearing. After all, when the group arrived to rob the make shift pack of their dinner they would have seen a lot.

Obviously, Jasper was there. A male werewolf. And so was Quintessa, a female werehyena. In the tree above dinner was Ace, a male werefox, with his slingshot. Though it wouldn't do him much good now. Cyrus was there as well. He was a male weretiger. The rather giant looking wererat was Gene. He was trying to sneak up on them from behind. Jessica, the female werewolf was pacing behind Jasper. Leigha, the female weretiger, was climbing up and down a tree. That was her way of pacing. Marie was crouched down behind Cyrus. She was almost ready to pounce. Paul was a male werebear. He was big and black and imposing. He stood there with his chest rising and falling as he breathed deeply. And then there was Peter, who was very hyper at the moment. He was a male wereleopard, a snow leopard at that.

So if this group of new arrivals cared to take the time to notice, they would see that they had their hands full. That was of course, provided that the lycans were willing to face each of these beings before them. The lycans weren't very healthy or strong. Malnourishment and exposure can get to a body after a while. And here were able bodied beings trying to hold them back. So it was quickly decided that unless the others struck first, the lycans would just stand their ground. After all, they had a dieing family member back at the cave to protect.

Cad didn't say a word as he tried to drink some of the water that Tasha had poured into his mouth. And when she handed him the boxes, he opened them up, flopping the lids off of them and letting them thump on the ground. He used all the strength he could muster to load the guns. The bullets seemed odd to him, and he clung to trying to figure out the mystery. That way, he wouldn't think so much on his wound.

He opened his mouth and closed it over the dowel. Once he had one gun loaded, he handed it to Tasha. Then he started to load the other one. It was a good thing that he hadn't had it ready to fire yet when she poured the alcohol into his wound. Because he bit down on that dowel and screamed. It hurt like hell. And if the gun had been ready to fire, he might have squeezed off a round. Which would have made him shoot Leviathan from the looks of things.

He managed to get the gun loaded and then set it on his chest, pointed at the werewolf that had cut him. The butt of the handle was resting on his chest, as he gripped the handle and kept his finger on the trigger. He would have dared them to cross that line were it not for the dowel in his mouth and the pure exhaustion that had claimed him. He was fighting to stay awake and he refused to take his eyes off the wolf.

A Dangerous Search - Page 2 Empty Re: A Dangerous Search

((I am allowed one {1} according to the Motion Picture Association's rating system guidelines for PG13. But I'm throwing a language warning in here anyway, just so no one gets caught off guard and offended.))

When the werewolf spoke, saying that he was the one who cut Cad open, she looked over at him. She saw his gesture with the blade that was strapped to his clawed hand. She shook her head and looked back to Cad. "Yea, fuck you too, dog." She started working to heal him enough to get him stable. He had to be stable before they could even try to move him.

She knew that her adding the word dog to her comment would piss him off, but she had to trust that the others around her would keep him from her. And if he got through the line of defense, she had the pistol sitting right beside her. She had taken it from Cad and set it down perfectly positioned to draw and fire quicker than any of them could be on them.

As she got out a clear paste and began to rub it on Cad's flesh around the wound she spoke again. "These pistols are loaded with liquid silver ammunition. And I will shoot any one of you if I have to. Regardless of what I am and what you are. Don't test me." Just so they knew for sure. She hated the thought, but she would do it. She'd answer to the God's later.

She made sure that she had enough of the paste on his flesh that putting ice on him wouldn't wash it away too quickly. And why was that? She was about to start working with a whole lot of fire. All of her pastes and elixirs were from Venis' recipes. They all required flames to activate them. She hadn't used these things since the SBR, but they were all fresh batches.

She looked over her shoulder. "Ailylaeli, come down here and help me. I need you to keep his mouth moist, keep him awake, and keep adding ice to his body to keep him cool." She needed an extra pair of hands for a wound this serious. She had to skip the rubber gloves because of the flames, so anything Ail could do to help was great. Less contamination that way.

The first paste she opened was in a brown jar. It smelt of meat and it was a dark red, almost a brownish black. Then she pulled out a smaller jar, that was white, and opened it up. It smelt like vanilla. The next jar was red, and it had a pink paste in it. That one smelt of strawberries. The last jar was creme colored, and the paste was a peach color, it even smelt peachy.

The next thing she got out of her bag was a box of matches. She would need those. Then she washed her hands with rubbing alcohol. She dried them with a clean, pure white cloth. It was time to begin. Each paste had a pain killer in it, so she skipped that step so he wouldn't overdose. Better safe than sorry. She started with the knick in his ribs, the only bone damage.

She dipped her finger in the jar and pulled it back out. Her body heat would already start to make the paste tacky. She spread it on his ribs, making sure to get both spots that had been nicked. She applied enough that it could replace the missing parts of the bones. Then she lit a match and ran the flame along the paste on the bones. The hotter it got the better.

She was supposed to get off the dragon now?

Ailylaeli was very shaky as she moved her leg so that she could slide off the dragon. The she held her breath and closed her eyes as she slid. Almost like she was diving into the water. When she hit the ground she fell down on the ground hard.

She opened her eyes, noticed nothing was broken, and chose to breathe again. Then she got up on her knees and crawled over to the Healer. Shaky hands lifted the water bottle. She removed the wood dowel and poured water into his mouth.

She was supposed to remove the wood, right?

Then she put the wood back into his mouth. Though she wasn't sure why. She figured it was just what she was supposed to do. Then she reached into the cooler and pulled out a hand full of ice. She put it on his stomach at the top of the gash he had.

Ailylaeli took a swig from a bottle of water herself. She was doing her best to avoid panicking. She had no idea what she was doing, or why the Healer asked her to try. She was just hoping that she was doing things right so Cad could be saved.

This whole situation was new to her.

Ailylaeli had done the right thing when she took the wood out of Cad's mouth and gave him water. Tasha was also glad that she put the wood back in as well. Just in case the pain killer in the pastes didn't work as good as it should.

When Tasha heated the bone paste it got rather hot. In fact, it was almost perfectly solidified and matched the bone perfectly. Tasha couldn't have done better. The little bit that wasn't solid would harden as she continued.

She washed her hands again with the rubbing alcohol. New paste needed clean hands. She dried her hands again and this time dipped two fingers into the brown jar. She pulled out some of the creamy paste and began to rub it on.

She went one organ at a time, his stomach was the worst. She wondered if she should sew it shut before she pasted it. But she went with the paste first. If it needed sewn shut after she would do that. Paste only first though.

Once she had the paste rubbed on each and every nick and cut in his organs, she lit a match. She had to keep this fire burning longer. If it went out, she would have to reapply and use another match. She went for the stomach.

The furball in human form, that smelled like a cat, was right in her thinking that it would piss the werewolf off to be called a dog. It pissed him off to the point that he advanced on the group between him and her. He had it in his head to rip her tongue from her mouth.

Sure that someone or something would get in his way, he was ready to attack each and every being in his way. He would go through the panther, he figured that was his best route. The elf and the dragon had a better chance at stopping him. So he headed for the panther at a run.

Besides, he had no idea what was going on with the elf. But he knew that there was something about him that just wasn't quite elvish. And any animal knew that things that weren't normal could be dangerous. He figured the elf guy was very dangerous.

((Holy crap, what's up with the 9's. That rocks.))

Tasha was doing quite well. Cad was going to be able to be transported very soon. So she washed her hands again. She moved on to the next paste once her hands were clean. This one required her to push the wound together as she filled it with the next paste.

Once the edges of the muscles were soaked with the creme, and she had the wound pushed together, she was ready to try. It was going to be hard to hold the wound and strike the match, so she used her mouth. She struck the match, then ran it along the gash.
