It wasn't a long trip from one Inn to the other. But the second one had some things going for it that the Tel'Ranaemyn didn't. It was more secure and it was closer to the Keep. She had to move her entourage, as they had come to be affectionately known, away from the Tel'Ranaemyn. It was a matter of safety. Besides, this Inn was so high in the sky, she could see the roof of Tel'Ranaemyn from the windows in the room she had reserved up on the top floor.

That made her feel even more secure in this move. She would still be able to watch over them. Which was very important to her. She had to make sure that they stayed safe, she could feel the things that went bump in the night, and they were getting closer. This new Inn was safer because so few made the trip up and even fewer knew about it to begin with. Most people just stumbled across this place. The one who built it had serious issues.

He was an emperor and he ended up in Rhy'Din, portal slippage or something. But he wanted to have his empire back, so he built this castle. He wanted to be able to see others, but them not see him. He did a pretty good job too. But that was just the legend Venis had been told. She would probably look into it while they were there. After all, it would be interesting to know for sure. And they were going to be here for a while, after all, it was safe.

With some of them on horseback, that made some more room in the coaches to load trunks and chests. But that made the coaches and the carriage rather heavy to get uphill. So when they hit the bottom of the hill, Venis had an idea. She had the moving van move up against the back of the biggest coach. If the van dropped down into first gear, and slightly pushed the coach, the horses would have less strain on their backs with getting it all uphill.

Then she convinced Willow to do the same thing with the smaller coach. She had her put her head against the back of it and slightly push. She was sure that the horses would appreciate the effort. After all, what good are load bearing horses with bad backs? So that left the carriage, Venis herself got behind that and pushed. Superior strength and all, she was able to help, so she did. And before too long, they were at the top of the hill and at the castle.

Gwen rode Rapture following everyone else. She was getting used to being around the other employees and so was not real worried on the trip here. She did like new places, and this one was so beautiful. The nature around here was calming, so many trees. She rode in silence.

When they had finally reached the top of the hill she dismounted and looked up. This place was massive. She had no idea where her room was going to be, but she was happy that it would be with Manny. She waited for him to dismount and then took his hand. This was it; home.

Manny dismounted Empyrean once they arrived atop the mountain and were at the Inn. Other than the commotion at the bottom of the mountain about all the pushing, it had been a very quiet trip. Of course, that was more than likely because everyone was avoiding the proverbial elephant amongst them. Why did they have to leave? He was sure that someone would be asking Venis soon enough, but he wasn't going to be the one to start that war.

He took Gwendolan's hand as they walked the pair of unicorns over to the hitching post and tied them up. Then the two of them stood there and waited for Venis to go inside and secure the rooms so they could unload everything and start getting rooms put together. Some of the employees were rather upset about having to move, others were happy to be closer to their homes. Manny was just happy that Gwendolan had come with him, so he smiled at her.

Gwen smiled back at him and leaned against him.

"I know you are not happy that you had to leave but it is beautiful here."

She turned her head and kissed him softly.

"I think we will both miss people but sometimes a move is required."

As Agrarian came to a stop behind the coaches Tasha dismounted him first as she was riding behind Ha'Ruil. Then she held onto Agrarian by the reigns while she waited for Ha'Ruil to dismount as well. She then walked him over to the hitching post and tied him up with Rapture and Empyrean.

She looked to Ha'Ruil and smiled. "Ha'Ruil dear, Venis will be over here shortly to ask us the inevitable question. Would we like one room or two.? I would not mind it being one, if you don't." She wasn't exactly sure if he was ready for that yet, but they were practically living together at the other Inn already anyway.

Seleen had been very quiet all the way over to the new Inn as she rode in the coach seated next to Shuda. She had her arms wrapped around one of his, and her head upon his shoulder. She was not at all happy about this relocation in the middle of her trying to open a Salon and while she was planning her wedding. The moment Shuda had asked her to marry him, her first thought about it was that it had to be in the Tel'Ranaemyn gardens where they met. Now that wasn't going to happen and Seleen was not pleased. And she definitely would say something about it to Venis.

So when the coaches came to a stop, she got up and got out. She looked at the huge building before her and sighed. She had been here before, for the party. And Shuda had said it was a lovely place. He had stayed here before. But it wasn't the same, it wasn't where they had met. Couldn't the move have waited until after the wedding? How was Armandeus supposed to make the cakes now? It just was not the same and she couldn't believe that Venis had made such a unilateral decision. And given that this was not the first time she had been upset with Venis, she knew what to do.

Manny sighed as he nodded to Gwendolan. "It's not me I'm worried about dear. It's Seleen, she was so upset when Venis told her that we were moving. I'm not sure that she even thought to ask if she could stay. We get rather used to just following directions. Seleen too I guess." He had worked for Venis since he was old enough to work. It had just become habit with him. Venis says time to go, he goes.

He saw Tasha walking over to him and he smiled. His smile got even bigger when she asked if they wanted to get one room or two. He slowly put his arms around her kissing her lightly on the lips.

"I would be delighted if it was only one room, little Kitten."

He chuckled at her again before kissing her again on the lips.

When he heard that Venis wanted to pack up and leave the other Inn, He did not have a problem with that, Actually he had another place that was he was thinking about when Venis did say about leaving. So he told her about this place and now here they were. He knew that Seleen would be upset because of the wedding but he hopes that she would be over it. Besides he was marry her above a pit of lava if it had to be that way. So on the way there he just comforted her as she held on to him. He looked up at the massive building and smiled. When was the last time he was here? Hell he did not even know that.

Venis was headed towards Tasha and Ha'Ruil as was expected, it just so happened that Gwendolan and Manny were near them as well. She had a clip board in her hands and a pen. "Ok, let's see here. Gwendolan and Manny, you guys want one room right? I mean you were practically living together over there anyway. Does the same go for you two?" The later being asked of Tasha and Ha'Ruil.

She smiled at them. "Are the rooms that only have one bedroom that is separate from the living space going to be big enough?" She asked that of both pair to be sure to get them the correct rooms. Once their responses were given she would thank them and move on. She made note that she would be putting four employees per room in two of the rooms that had but one bedroom. That way they were less crowded.

She made her way over to Seleen and Shuda. "Did you guys want a one bedroom suite as well?" She could feel that Seleen was upset with her, but she had to let it go for now. She had to go get them checked in. There would be time to deal with Seleen afterwards. But she looked to Shuda to await the answer figuring that Seleen might not be speaking to her. Once they were checked in, she would fix it.

Tasha leaned her back against Ha'Ruil's chest as she saw Venis coming towards them. Right on cue. And she did ask the inevitable question. Did Tasha know her or what? "Yes Venis, one room for us is fine, as is the one bedroom off the main room. It should be big enough." She had lived in smaller.

As Venis walked away, she closed her eyes ad listened to his heart beat. It was such a relaxing sound, it soothed her. She had no reason to be upset about the move like Seleen was. After all, they had thrown her a surprise party here the month before. She had already seen some of the place.

Gwen looked at Venis and nodded a slight blush.

"One room is fine with me, Manny and I discussed it before we left. "

She looked up at Manny with a smile.

He looked down at Seleen before looking back up at Venis. "Actually we are probably going to try to get one of the cottages that are on the ground of the gardens. So I do not think we will be getting a room at the Inn itself." He gave Seleen a hug and kissed her forehead before looking at Venis.

Post by Lt. Seleen Darkite Sun Aug 02, 2009 12:11 am

Seleen remembered the last time he was here. It was the nineteenth of June, Tasha's Birthday party. She also had known even then that he had suggested the place to Venis for the party. The things that Seleen didn't know were that even back then, Venis had thought about moving them. And she also didn't know that Shuda wanted to be out in a cottage rather than in the Inn with everyone else.

There seemed to be a lot of decision making going on in Seleen's life, and yet, none of them were being made by her. This was getting to be rather frustrating. But she thought for a moment, and a cottage to themselves wouldn't be to bad. She just wanted to be in on the decision making in her life. To her, that didn't seem like too much to ask. Maybe she was wrong though. Maybe they felt that she didn't need to know things.

So without a word to Venis, she returned Shuda's hug then started to pull away. "I've got shit to do." A rather curt way of speaking for her these days, but she was in no mood for niceties. She headed over to the moving van and threw the door up so she could get in. She stepped up into the box and started to off load trunks and chests. The first bunch of trunks and chests were Tasha's so into a pile for her they went.

Venis made note of what Gwendolan and Tasha told her as well as what Shuda had said. Seleen's curt comment caught her off guard. "Sel?" But she was of to unload the truck so fast that Venis knew to let it be for now. So now that she had notes about who was staying where, she was ready to head in and get everyone checked in.

She looked over at the men and smiled. "You guys help Seleen and make sure to keep everyones stuff separated please." They would know that Seleen and Shuda's stuff went together and so would Tasha and Ha'Ruil's as well as Gwendolan and Manny's. Kahn's stuff had gone home with him, but Krystal's stuff, that was to go with hers.

((Ok, this one is done, no more small talk needed, we can move on.))
